Avatar f tn I love in myrtle beach.... You'll get what you pay for if you go extra cheap... The cheaper hotels are not in good areas at all... If you're looking for ocean front I would look in north myrtle or surfside area...

Avatar f tn Could my recurrence of Ovarian cancer be attributed to my taking Evista for a year? I had ovarian cancer 15 years ago and after surgery and chemo, and a "second look" surgery with multiple biopsies was considered cured.I had a complete hysterectomy and the cancer seemed to be contained in my left ovary. Last winter I found a lump in my left groin which was biopsied and diagnosed as ovarian malignancy.

3199802 tn?1362250559 Today was better physically other than the sneezing!! What the heck is that about?! Doesn't this sneezing know I have had 3 kids and my bladder can't take it? ;-) Off work for 5 days hopefully I can't lose the edge and relax in Myrtle Beach with my mommy and kids!! I am worried I am going to be a witch with a "B" cause my anxiety is so high!!
Avatar m tn Thanks. Can you tell me where in the Myrtle Beach area I can get the tests done? Is there some sort of government agency that would be less expensive and give faster results?
Avatar m tn Has anyone heard of taking Tamoxifen or Evista as a possible step in breast cancer prevention? My doctor has suggested it because I'm in a high risk category. I'm not sure what to do.
Avatar f tn he said I am cancer free right now, but a high risk of getting breast cancer so he is recommending this medication Evista. He said Evista was better then the tomoxafin because it causes less blood clots. Is this true? I haven't started any meds yet, since IM going to get a second opinon first to see what is the best course of medication for me to take.Of course there are side effects now what medication doesn't have any side effects right.
Avatar f tn I wish they had an outlet where I am from! We went to myrtle beach recently and I bought the store out! She will have Carter's clothes until she is 3!
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm ok, but I think about this every day since I found out. It bothers me more than I thought it would. I have no known family history, but my mother died at 60 from complications from uterine cancer. I am post menopausal. When I was 49 my husband died and my periods just stopped suddenly and I had only hot flashes. But they were often and I would get drenched at work. So I took Prempro. I never stopped taking it because every time I tried the flashes came back.
Avatar f tn I am in Myrtle beach now, and about two days of swimming the pain has came back. I began taking the same medicine and stopped swimming. After six sleepless nights I CANNOT take the pain anymore. It has spread to my other ear as well. It's a throbbing pain, feels like there's a whole bunch of blood inside. As well as two bif bumps under my right ear, and one under my left. I cannot barely hear. I have never been in so much pain before.
Avatar f tn I still have 5 more weeks and im dying. Especially with the heat.
Avatar f tn We are taking a 2 week vacation next year with all of our kids. First to myrtle beach for a few days to visit my father in law then to Daytona beach for a couple days then to Disney for 9 days. I really wanna be in good shape and be able to handle being on my feet all day especially at Disney so now that we are booking the trip this week I have extra motivation to get healthy and exercise. I get tired so quick on my feet now.
Avatar n tn hi, I just got back from myrtle beach on friday night. Thursday afternoon I went swimming with my brother and 2 sisters. I put spf 70 sunscreen lotion on because I always get burned but I forgot to reapply, we were only swimming for 2 hours though. I went the entire week without getting burned. Friday we got up around 4:30am to take the tents down and leave. 6:30am went to take one last look at the ocean, but by then I was shaking and extremely cold. I couldn't stop shaking.
Avatar m tn Hi Jim, Welcome to MedHelp! I am the Orthopedic Community Leader for this site. That said, I am neither an electrician or a golfer (even though I live a few miles from Myrtle Beach). I personally wouldn't think the loss of ROM (Range of Motion) would take it's toll to badly for your job. The golfing, however, (I would imagine) will be effected. You could try using something like a Carpal Tunnel splint and try to golf to see how it would feel.
Avatar f tn Thanks i think it will be easier this time also because I have not really taken them every day and only a few a day....i have started the b-12 back up and also drinking my coffee all day again....lol but it will be a little easier now because i do not work so i can have a little rest with the withdraws now......I think right now it is the mental w/d but i am sure when I try to go to sleep tonight the physical wd's will kick in....
600561 tn?1326845621 I am 68 and all tests indicate that I am in very good health. For the moment, my only perscription drug is Evista. Where can I go with this question? Thanks.
746986 tn?1271725491 moved from Texas back to North Carolina, got married, when on a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, SC, and have now ended up in Jacksonville, Florida! Needless to say, I've had an interesting past few month! But I have my first ultrasound on the 23rd and am so freaking excited I can't stand it. I can't wait to find out if I'm having a boy or a girl! (which hopefully, I WILL find out, haha) I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time last month, and it was amazing.
