I am asking this question due to the lot's of people facing complications after medical procedure and medicines. So please share tips about how to take care of our teeth without taking chemical related stuff. I am no longer taking Evista, but while doing some research to see if I wanted to go back on it for my osteopenia, I found some references to a correlation between Evista and ovarian cancer and wondered if that could have had a bearing on my case. Hi, my kitties have had lots of cleanings and extractions over the years and never have had Antib's before the procedure. And we're only ever given a 5 day round after extractions not after just a cleaning. So glad you didn't allow convienia.....

She needs a dental (At your Vet) and possible extractions.....The bad breath is bacteria and/or rotting teeth......Dental disease leads to many other problems if left untreated......Including heart disease.... t know that you should be taking evista and tamoxifen together , but the evista is definitely not a estrogen receptor. And who knows, maybe with them both it will help ward off further cancer problems. Just be careful because both can cause blood clots -- ask about taking lose dose (81 mg) aspirin or 1 mg warfarin to prevent the risk of clots. P.S. I am in the middle of treatment for another recurrence -- the evista didn't prevent an ovarian recurrence....

Among them, 259 people (1.47%) have Hair Loss. Time on Evista when these people had hair loss: < 1 month 4.35% 1 - 6 months 4.

Iehp will cover certain visits. if your your over 21 it will not cover cleanings and fillings. It will cover emergency dentist visits and tooth extractions.

I am getting ready to have 17 extractions done on the same day and have Afordable Dentures put a full set of dentures in. Is it safe to have that many teeth taken out at the same time?? Will I be able to function the next day?? When do you think I can return to work??

I am also a dental assistant. I agree with the post above. You need to see a dentist asap in case there is an infection. If there is, you will need an antibiotic. It is not recommended that pregnant women have xrays and we never do them unless the patient is in severe pain and we have reason to believe there might be an infection. We have done extractions on pregnant women and their stage in pregnancy never made a difference.

My 8 year old cat, Kupid was diagnosed with a dental abscess about a week ago and put on clindamycin 1 ml twice a day. When she started she had a pink drainage coming from her right eye and right nostril. Her eye has gotten better and her nose has slightly improved. She is still sneezing and looks terrible but she is eating on her own. Yes dental work is safe and highly recommended when pregnant so you dont pass an infection to your unborn baby. I know that fillings, deep cleaning, tooth extractions, fixing chipped teeth are all safe. I would ask about root canals though.

The technique they use at this place is an injection where you are conscious but do not remember a thing when you come round. I had two extractions a filling scrape and polish last time and I can honestly say I don't remember any of it. The only downside is you have to be referred by your own dentist and the waiting list for just an assessment is approx 6 months. Then you have to wait a further 6 months for treatment.

Have all of the necessary dental work complete & if you still have migrains and/or facial pain I would get a referral to a Neurologist.However I believe after all of your dental procedures are done most of your facial pain should be gone.

Ever since I've had a root canal (tooth number 30) and dental crowns placed (#30 & #31), I have had nothing but issues with my ears. I've experienced hearing loss, have tinnitus and definitely have some balance issues of some sort. Sometimes I get dizzy in movie theaters and heights. I decided to get new dental crowns to see if this solved the issue and while it did not solve them, it made a drastic improvement. However, the issues still persists.. along with some neck pain.

If you check the dental forums, you will find references to sinus infections and failed root canals, and tooth extractions. A trip to the dentist has revealed that friend has a failed root canal in an upper molar. Hope something here helps you or gives you some direction.

I had 5 extractions. in the bottom of my mouth. i just got the bottom denture.. My problem is that a small piece of the bone is sticking out. my dentist told me it would heal itself. it hasn't ..I have tried to wear my denture as suggested by my dentisty. it is very, very painful as the denture is rubbing against it. i am going away in six days.How long is the healing time if he shaves down the bone & how long before i can wear my bottom denture?
