Common Questions and Answers about European heart journal subscription

255722 tn?1452546541 That article appeared in the european journal of cardiology in 1985 and you can find the abstract on their website. You need a subscription to read the whole thing though (which I don't have). There is another larger article published just this year in the journal 'cardiology' which I mentioned in a few of my previous posts.
382218 tn?1341181487 I meant to mention previously I have a subscription to the academic journal "Multiple Sclerosis" published by Sage Publishing. It is pricey at $322 per year; although that does include 9 issues, both print and online access. I like that I can read new studies that are just released; they put them online right away rather than waiting for the next issue to come out.
Avatar f tn Thanks artfemme. I found the article "associations of autoimmune thyroiditis with other autoimmune diseases" interesting.
Avatar m tn That is a good question. The European Journal of Heart Failure 2003 June5(3) 271-9 suggested that when treated with ACE inhibiters 325 mg of aspirin is contraindicated. Am J. Heart 1999, Aug 1, 38 p254-260 recommends caution in high doses of aspirin which may cause worsening of the condition with exercise and interfering with gas exchange. If you go to the Pubmed government data base you can see several studies that suggest raising the dose to 325 might not be such a good idea.
Avatar m tn Does anyone has a subscription or access to the Journal of Viral Hepatitis? Avatar m tn If you have access to electronic research databases, they have the most reliable and up-to-date information available. A lot of them provide links to full-text, scholarly journal articles---and are reliable. Most require a subscription, but if you attend a university you could probably access many of the databases for free.
Avatar m tn CRST is a smaller, non-subscription journal. I do not know how the term effective optics is used or defined.
402205 tn?1230481005 I have this in my journal but triedeverymed suggested I post it so I am. I think this is important info as this is a public forum. What can I do if I am being harassed or stalked on the Net? You should report the incident to the system administrator (aka "sysadmin") of both your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the ISP of the stalker or harasser. Be aware that sometimes stalkers/harassers try to conceal their tracks by forging (aka "spoofing") their e-mail headers.

Avatar f tn aspx  Figure your heart rate by this formula  The Karvonen Formula is a mathematical formula that helps you determine your target heart rate zone. The formula involves using your maximum heart rate (MHR) minus your age to come up with a target heart rate range (which is a percentage of your MHR). Avatar m tn Hi, Thnx for the post. I read in a reputed medical journal- I think European College of Cardiology- that high bilirubin levels may indicate heart failure. In fact my doctor was puzzled at the time, since I did not have jaundice or any other liver disorder. However, I did have SOB and a general heavy feeling, and used to do weights at the time. Since the NSVT appeared for the first time after stopping weights due to SOB, I corelated the SOB and NSVT with heart failure caused by weights.
1301089 tn?1290666571 This has resulted in reporters pooh-poohing the Iranian nuclear threat as limited (falsely) to Israel and not to the European Union. Recall, it was the Wall Street Journal, an American publication, that broke most of the scandals involving German-Iranian trade and not the Hamburg-based publications, Spiegel magazine, Financial Times Deutschland, and Hamburger Abendblatt.
