I use to be able to get super wet even before having sex to the point that it would drip down my thighs before we even got started. Now I have to give my bf head with a lot of saliva before he puts it in and a few minutes after we start the saliva and my vagina dry up.

t get pregnant that she was goin g to prescribe me estrogen pills to thicken my uterine walls. I did the clomid cycle and estrogen pills. Today I started my progesterone pills. Saturday I started experience lower back pain. I think I ovulated early also. I usually have ovulation on 16 day of luteal phase. I want to know if these symptoms I am having are side effects of medications? I'm currently taking. I forgot to mention I'm diagnosis with PCOS and currently lost 33 lbs.

He said he would give me no hormones for the first 6 months and then start low dose estrogen after that. Estrogen aggrevates the endo so it is best to starve it for 6 months to kill it off. When I ask what to expect he just says most women in my shape feel great afterwards. I was just wondering if some of you could give me your stories so I can have an idea of what to expect. Thanks!

My blood work came back and I have low estrogen levels. The insurance won't cover the medication I was prescribed. Does anyone have an idea of a generic brand I can take or something over the counter?

Then I went to another gyno who said that recent studies have proved that estrogen only with uterus in tact is safer that in fact it's the progesterone that is toxic. Is anyone receiving the same advice?

Before the test I stopped using birth control pills which I started 7 months ago, I stopped because they caused spotting between my periods, now spotting gone. The pills that I have used were low hormone one which means no estrogen. Plus just before the pap smear, after I stop pills, my period was weird, no aching breasts etc, now it is also normal. So my question is, I think obviously my hormone level was low, can LSIL be related to that?

Hey, I have blood clotting mutation and I was only given four choices. There is a pill that has no estrogen, I don't remember the name. Most pills use two kinds of hormones estrogen and one that starts with a M(don't know how to spell it). There's the shot, a patch, the marina IUD and the copper IUD. I was told that the M hormone is not known to cause blood clots. But I was unwilling to take the risk. I don't know if that helps at all.

Does a birth control pill stop the bleeding completely, or just extend the amount of times between periods? Also, I have read online that there are estrogen or progestin-based pills...is there one that will work better mainly for the purpose of decreasing my flow or stopping my period all together?

This time i was give estrogen pills (2 X 1 2MG/day). I am to continue them along with my progestrone cream, 2 days before my blood test.- I am scared to death to stop these pills, I have read on several websites that these estrogen meds are continued up to week 15 of a pregnancy, but my clinic says no to stop them the same time i stop my progestren....Has anyone experienced this, and why am I peeing all the time, they were only transferred yesterday!!

I get high blood pressure on pills with estrogen so I started the mini pill. It has no estrogen and I didn't have any side effects. I was off it for about a month when we got pregnant.

my Dr feels my cyst is due to high Estrogen and the BC pills would lower that and hence shrink or dissolve the cyst.. my concern is that I do NOT want to get on birth control when Im TTC...and my Estrogen blood work came out in the normal range.. some people also suggest natural progesterone cream to balance out the excess Estrogen that might have caused the cyst..

I would think you meant heavily built, and in that case, your low T could be caused by higher level of estrogen in your body, do you know your estrogen counts? If in fact high estrogen is the culprit, you should not only keep away from estrogen pills and estrogen rich food, but also try to bring it down by regular exercise and balanced food intake, there by reducing your weight. Reducing your estrogen level will naturally push up your T level.

anyways, when i spent a few days at my friends i forgot my pills at home, so i went 24 hours or so without my meds and got an unbearable headache and the hot flashes and anxiety. i take other meds for adhd and such so im not sure if it was from the bcp's but i think they can cause wierd things to happen. so talk to your ob/gyn(as you are going to) or talk to the pharmacist(or maybe even both), after all that's what they are there for. when you go for the appt.

I have had endometriosis for years and it's been fairly easily controlled (after lapro surgery several years ago) by non stop low dose birth control pills. They should only be resorting to the progesterone containing methods like depot Provera injections that you had used. It is unfortunate that I had forgotten to take my estrogen pills at the correct time, because on the friday of my last week, I had unprotected sex (seeing afterward that I was again behind on my pills.)
