5891248 tn?1406410864 I am just wondering, did you moms use regular bottled water or baby bottled water, and what is the difference ?
Avatar f tn In a city :(
Avatar f tn You can use cool tap water and warm it up once mixed, or bottled water.
476246 tn?1418870914 The two-year study was done by the Washington-based Environmental Working Group, an organization founded by scientists that advocates stricter regulation. It found the contaminants in bottled water purchased in nine states and Washington, D.C. Researchers tested one batch for each of 10 brands. Eight did not have contaminants high enough to warrant further testing.
Avatar n tn it worked for me in different ways... and try different bottled water brands.. may be fiji, evian, norwegian, or poland spring might suit u better than what u have now. Good luck!!
Avatar f tn I started drinking bottled water because I also started to dislike the taste of tap water, even with a filter. I say go for what your inticts tell you. Maybe there's too much of some chemical in your water that your body now rejects. Who knows.
Avatar f tn p I do admit I have given her some bottled water the odd time if I really have to, any thoughts?
29837 tn?1414534648 You can always put bottled water, if you are in areas where the tap water is contaminated, as it will filter the toxins from the bottled water as well. We were tracking in Mali this year, and they were very handy. I would advise everyone to get a water filter installed in their homes, as there is chlorine, fluoride and other toxins and bacteria in the drinking water. Again, Aquasana makes an affordable one. I ordered mine from the States, as they didn't have a distributor in Denmark, yet.
Avatar f tn For the first 5 months or so I boiled the water (bottled water) in a kettle and just used the water from the kettle. Then I just started using bottled water (don't like the chemicals in tap water).
2021910 tn?1339896686 tap water is actually safer than bottled water...
Avatar f tn I drink bottled water..so I have between 31/2 to four bottles of water a day...but I heard from the er doctor that even that wasn't enough since I was in for dehydration......its really hard for me to drink more than what I am now because I feel sick and my stomach gets really tight and full to where it hurts..........any advice?
Avatar m tn We usually drink bottled water but we may have used the tap water for the odd cup of tea because boiling bottled water seemed silly enough. So in the first few months we would all get severe heartburn and bloating and it took a while to realize that the water was the issue.
523927 tn?1257018704 t like about reverse osmosis is that it takes all the taste out of water. Good spring water tastes like water, different springs have different tastes. Tap water tastes awful because of the chlorine, and purified tap water has very little taste at all. Reverse osmosis even takes the taste out of spring water. There are other purification methods that don't do that, which again is what I personally prefer.
Avatar f tn I just stumbled on this article too - it's always something. While there can be many contaminants in water supplies across the country, I don't think people realize the benefits that can be lost in drinking regular tap water too. Once of the biggest supplies of flouride was from drinking regular water. Since everyone moved to bottled water, we that benefit has been lost.
233616 tn?1312787196 Bottled water is worse than tap water.
Avatar m tn From my research I have concluded that plastic leaking chemicals into the water is urban legend, bottled water is very regulated at least in the US, and even if it does have sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in it, that is one of the most mundane chemicals there is. The percentage of lymphocytes is not as important as the actual amount, because it is affected by the other types of white blood cells.
Avatar f tn I think its more an issue with the plastic too, and do you all realize all bottled water is, is tap water put in a bottle and sold. LOL, yep, we been had!
Avatar f tn Hi I'm 31 weeks 5 days and I have this concern about flouride. All I've done was research on the best possible fetal care and this one just slipped right under my nose. I've been drinking filtered refrigerated water and "purified bottled" water thinking this was safe..well unfortunately this flouride is not filtered out of either one. I was at the doctor a couple weeks ago and I was told that I had minor iron deficient anemia.
Avatar f tn What is coconut water? I assume you mean you want to replace water with "coconut water," but you don't explain what the latter is. Something you might try -- the water we drink from the tap tastes awful. Most bottled water is also tap water and also doesn't taste that great. Have you ever tried real spring water? It has the advantage of being inspected for health but doesn't taste like cleaned sewage and chlorine. Each spring has a distinct taste.
Avatar f tn Can i get any water in a jug or does it have to be the baby water brand ?
7600327 tn?1393358885 Ever since I was little, I've always hated drinking water. Even now as an adult I barely drink it. There are so many stipulations to me drinking water. I'll only drink bottled water & it has to be cold & I still barely drink it. My question is... if I add a packet of Crystal Light On The Go, is that defeating the purpose or is it still considered water intake?
1691275 tn?1322327507 It probably is algae (we get alot where we live from the reservoir which is where our drinking water comes from) or it could be mold but a slime mold. I would get a water purifier or even use Britta water or bottled water for brushing your teeth. Maybe change out the faucet and see if it comes back too. I would see a doctor to make sure there isn't a infection, neurological or other problem.
599170 tn?1300973893 s actually a much better investment over buying all that bottled water, because much of the bottled water is not what they say it is. From what I understand, municipal water is actually safer in most respects. So, using a filter to remove as much of the chlorine and other chemicals as possible costs less money and is better for your health in the long run.
Avatar f tn I live in Tucson, Arizona When I was 13 in middle school I started missing so much school. I was very tired and started losing hair. I gained a lot of weight. I went from a size 5 to a size 16. My mom got concerned and took me to the doctor and they checked my blood. I ended up having hypothyroidism. I have taken medication daily since then. My doctor said it was from the contamination of the water I was drinking.
