Avatar m tn Hi! Your mother needs to get examined to rule out a few things such as low blood pressure, postural hypotension, cervical spinal nerve compression, hypoglycemia, severe anemia, an underactive thyroid (called hypothyroidism), overactive thyroid (called hyperthyroidism), adrenal insufficiency (called Addison's disease), GERD, and internal ear infections. FSH, LH, estrogen and progesterone should also be tested. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Avatar f tn It could be endometriosis as I had severe nausea for 2yrs before my surgery and once I had the surgery and was put on the BCP continuously I dont have it anymore. If I go off my pill for more then a month it comes back with vengeance. If the pain is mild have you thought of going on the pill to level your hormones? That is what the cause is most likely. Have your hormones checked before doing so, to see if you have higher then normal levels.
Avatar n tn Is it normal to have nausea and an upset stomach so close to my due date? I'm 38+5 weeks. I feel terrible and I still have a week of work left.
Avatar f tn Hi, my daughter was put on birth control to regulate her periods and for her acne, which was really bad. She was 17 at the time. The nausea started shortly thereafter and the vomiting....................

Avatar m tn I'm 36, been on and off of BC my whole life and find that when I'm on it, I can't handle my alcohol like I can when I'm not on it. I'm a moderate drinker and I just got back on BC after 6 years and had the worse hangover with migraines and vomiting this past wkend. I remember the same thing happening years ago but now I'm positive the 2 are related.
982214 tn?1471454781 Hi. I know we're all different, but I also just went through my first IVF ;) My transfer was on July 14, a single 5-day blast transfer. On the 17th, I started getting cramps here & there & by the 19th I had pretty bad cramps, then nausea... I just got my BFP on Friday and am waiting for my 2nd beta results today. (SO nervous!) Anyway, I just wanted to wish you my best & let you know you're not alone in your symptoms!
Avatar f tn Also spondylitis of cervical spine (neck vertebrae) is known to cause nausea and vertigo. An ENT and an orthopedic consultation can take care of that. Maybe its vertigo that makes you feel shaky. Alternately you could get a brain EEG to rule out epilepsy. Avatar f tn I'm an 18 year old cisgender female with an intact uterus and low estrogen/progesterone. To counter this, my doctor has prescribed me 100 mcg Estradot patches and 200 mg Microgest. I have absolutely HORRIBLE reaction to the Microgest -- horrific nausea, constipation, excessive vaginal discharge, headaches, constantly feel drunk, etc. I have been taking it 3 months now, so I know this is not a fluke.
3944505 tn?1348709677 ve been getting major headaches nausea dizzy spells and hot flashes.. I rarely get headaches maybe one or two a year but I've been getting 3-4 these last two weeks. 1437126 tn?1284099058 Thanks for your response. I'm not taking any pills now for almost a year. of course I do have estrogen dominance, mood swings, nausea and vaginal dryness as well. I also have mid cycle period on the 14th day with dark blood. I was confused whether it's a good sign or a bad sign. Is it a ruptured cyst?
Avatar f tn Estrogen should not be taken without a progestogen or you're at risk for proliferation of the uterine lining which can cause hyperplasia or cancer. Have you tried various formulations of progestins? Have you tried micronized progesterone (brand name Prometrium)? There's also a vaginal progestogen called Crinone that is mainly used to maintain pregnancy. It may be an option to cycle less frequently than monthly. You could discuss it with your doctor.
Avatar f tn Congrats!!! I can't even remember that far back anymore lol smh! The nausea should soon subside in a couple weeks! Good luck! And I'm Team Pink!!! Due Sept 20!
Avatar f tn I sleep maybe 2 -3 hours a night due to hot flashes and nausea that feels like morning sickness. And of course no matter how much I exercise or eat right I cannot lose any weight (I'm 25-30 pounds overweight at this point). Can anyone who has had these same symptoms suggest anything that might help? Especially with the nausea and not sleeping? I keep thinking that if I could get some weight off it might help alleviate some of the other symptoms. It's such a catch 22. Thank you so much!!
Avatar f tn Hello, my worst symptom is almost constant nausea- ranges from mild to severe, no vomiting, normal bowel movements.
Avatar f tn My blood work came back and I have low estrogen levels. The insurance won't cover the medication I was prescribed. Does anyone have an idea of a generic brand I can take or something over the counter?

My GI doc says he is out of things to give me and told me to contact the specialist in San Francisco that did the motility test. I did and they said they will discuss it next week at my appt and to contact my doctor here!! My Doc here suggested maybe I go to the Mayo clinic. Oh right!! I'm in CA!!

Avatar n tn Hi Sandra, Granulosa cell tumors produce estrogen and estrogen levels are a good marker to evaluate for recurrence. I am not aware of any studies showing that estrogen causes these tumors to grow. I have pasted a very nice review from emedicine below. best wishes Background Three major types of ovarian neoplasms are described, with epithelial cell tumors (70%) comprising the largest group of tumors.
Avatar f tn I feel nauseous most of the time and specially after eating. I become very fatigued and find it hard to concentrate and hard to stay awake. I thought that maybe I was dehydrated and began drinking an excess amount of water (four to five 24 oz bottles of water per day) but not feeling any better. Not sure if you have any ideas of what it could be. I have now for the last two days been getting a sever headache in the mid afternoon with no relief from Tylenol or ibuprofen.
7558356 tn?1410715309 Well I looked it up only and it says that with pregnancy it can be from your estrogen and hormones, but it says its common in early pregnancy. I haven't heard anything about iron, but I will def look into that.
Avatar f tn I started having my period twice a month and heavy blood clots. I started to feel weak, nausea and hot flashes only in the evening hours. The morning was my worst time of the day.
