I got off on that estradiol patch. cold turkey no effects Cause me& my husband trying to have a baby it's says that can birth effect I don't want that.

I think up to 12 weeks. Keep in mind that they have to disclose possible side effects. All these fertility drugs have crazy side effects......why is it that this is the only one noticed.??

Your FSH is great! (measures ovarian reserve). I think the other numbers are great, too! (not sure about prolactin) One of your tubes is blocked? That will decrease the chances somewhat, but plenty of women have conceived with one tube. At our age, though, we all have the time factor to consider, so IVF would be an excellent option. I know it's very expensive. We're considering it but I have no idea how we'd pay for it! I have a very high FSH. Last year it was 22!

This was my first IVF cycle but my ovaries did not respond well at all to Gonal F 225 IUs and my Estradiol level was 41 on my 5th day. So the doctor increased Gonal F to 300 IUs and my Estradiol level increased on my 10th day to 192, but I still only had 3 follies. :( He cancelled this cycle of IVF and wants to go with IUI instead. The chances are slimmer but I do have 3 follies and just maybe one of my hubby's lil soldiers will penetrate one of my stubborn lil eggs.

Well, the doctor who did my transfer told me to take 2 estrodial per day and 3 prometrium per day and shot of progesterone every other day and I wasn't due to go back until my pregnancy test 10/7. However, I was unhappy with several lapses in care that I received along the process so I switched and they immediately started doing my blood levels every 3-4 days. I guess it helps them to keep your hormones where they need to be to support pregnancy.

follistim stim 150 3days, 225, 2 days, and 300 for 2 days, my RE decided I was not responding and stopped, (I was having too many side effects), but since nothing is happening and I don't know what other patients experience when they do not respond as far as periods. My periods were always regular although sometimes short (I am 42 and have a high FSH 18.8) but I have not missed a period since June and now my ovaries just stopped and my lining is not building.

I didn't have any side effects except pregnancy, lol but some people may have them although not sure about the specific ones you asked about.

My first IVF cycle I had the same problem with my Estradiol. The Dr knows what he is doing. My Dr made me wait as well until my levels were where he was comfortable. I got PG that cycle. Sadly ended in MC @ 7 weeks, but that had nothing to do with it. If he had not made me wait I would not have even got PG. However I would have been so frustrated if he had not taken the time to tell me why he was making me wait.

I did a 5days blast transfer and was confirmed pregnant on wk 4 but had a throbbing pain on the right side for a day. I'm worrying that I've misscarriaged. My breast tenderness seems to go on and off. I don't know what's going on, please help.

I am not sure about estrogen levels and how they supposed to vary but I was taking estrogen supplements after ivf transfer. So, you can definitely supplement. Good luck!
