Avatar f tn My doctor had my FSH, LH, progesterone, and estradiol levels tested twice. Here are my results: FSH first test: 6.2 second test: 6.8 LH first test: normal apparently, but I didn't see what exactly it was second test: 7.9 Estradiol first test: not sure, but normal apparently second test: 52 I'm a little concerned about the estradiol. A few sources I've checked online have said that an estradiol level of above 50 can mask a high FSH. Is this true?
Avatar f tn I got the results of my bloodwork today and my FSH is 6.34, LH - 2.46 and Estradiol 96.3. Can anyone say if this looks good especially the estradiol?
Avatar m tn Estradiol 211, FSH 13.7, LH 55.6. Should I be concerned about these labs? Are they too high? or are they good for a 40 year old. I need some assistance please. Than kyou.
Avatar f tn I assume you mean what these results mean with regard to fertility, that these are day 3 lab results, and trying to conceive....so my answer is based on that. FSH Normal values are 3-20 FSH is often used as a gauge of ovarian reserve. In general, under 6 is excellent, 6-9 is good, 9-10 fair, 10-13 diminished reserve, 13+ very hard to stimulate. In PCOS testing, the LH:FSH ratio may be used in the diagnosis.
Avatar f tn Hi i m 24 years old, i just got blood reports done And my FSH and LH tests done.i hv got FSH=4.0 mIU/ml and LH = 32.4 mIU/ml , prolactin =10.8 ng/mL , TSH= 2.43 micro IU/ml. So wats the actual problem, wat should be the actual i mean normal FSH LH ratio for a women, whether its the problem related to polycystic ovaries. whether its difficult to get pregrant with this FSH LH ratioo?? So can you please give me the suggestions wats actually the problem ??
374593 tn?1257879950 46 would be your estradiol(E2) and 6 or 9 would be your FSH. FSH should be under 10 and E2 should besomewhere between 20 to 80 (this will vary a little bit b/w lab and Dr preference). The FSH is a measure used to determine egg quality/reserve-under 10 is good. For that number to be considered accurate the E2 has to be within the range above. I don't know anything about PCOS so I can't help with that.
Avatar n tn Were any other androgen levels tests - LH, FSH, dhea sulfate, any testosterone levels, or SHBH? Estrogen and testosterone are related and estrogen comes from multiple sources.
Avatar m tn I have read Tribulus, one of the herbal components of the X180 supplement increases Testosterone (T) level by boosting LH and FSH . In your case, even though the LH and FSH are marginally above limits, I feel the damage is mainly done by the high estrogen level and if you can reduce the same ( which any way you need to do), with proper diet and exercise, I would think you will be able to realize the good effects of high testosterone.
Avatar f tn Hi nels! Your numbers all look good! As a matter of fact, your FSH, which is often used as an indication on your ovarian reserve, is in the excellent category! Best of luck to you!
Avatar n tn t worry--you need a cycle day 2 or 3 FSH,LH and Estradiol level to measure ovarian reserve not a midcycle surge level.
Avatar f tn I found out today that my estradiol level is 108 (should be 200) and my FSH level is 15.7 (should be 20). Both blood tests were taken the day of "peak" on fertility monitor, although I had two peak days. I also had a positive on an OPK. We had an early loss/chemical pregnancy two months ago and my doctor does not know if the low hormone levels caused the loss or if the low hormone levels are as a result of the loss.
Avatar f tn Do you happen to know what the normal ranges are for LH and FSH? I recently had some blood tests done and my LH was at 0.2 and FSH at 1.2. (The tests were taken on day 16 or 17 of my cycle. Incidentally, my estrogen/estradiol was ,15 too.) My Ob/Gyn doesn't know what it means exactly... and hasn't really explained much, except to say that these levels were very low. I don't know what the normal range is...and still don't know what these numbers mean.
161647 tn?1280608163 I went back and looked at my blood work from year. My FSH was 100.6 which is in the range for postmenopausal. My LH was 54.9 which is high for postmenopausal (range 5.0-52.3) and my Estradiol was less than 32. Has anyone had this happen and I would also like to know if anyone has any ideas on why my LH would still be high after menopause. I try and read on the functions of the hormones but sometimes I think I just need someone to explain it to me. Thanks for any replies.
Avatar n tn It is hard to predict. The higher levels of estrogen may promote the midcycle LH surge, which is what urine OPKs look for. If this happens, the surge might come a couple of days earlier. This is called positive feedback. On the other hand, the higher estrogen levels my inhibit LH (this is called negative feedback) delaying the surge. You will need to test for ovulation to find out.
1235159 tn?1323009319 Took my 1st Femara today. Got my results back and my FSH is 7.2, Estradiol is 51 and LH is 2.7. Anyone had any experience with Femara?
Avatar n tn Blood work is as follows: LH 76.0, FSH 116.0, Progesterone 0.2, Estradiol <5.0, TSH is 2.410. Had an endometrial ablation in 2013, so no period since then. Am I post menopausal?
Avatar n tn I was wondering if anyone here has levels of FSH and LH like I do. I did some blood work at my doctors office mid cycle, almost eactly mid cycle and here were the results: Estradiol: 478 pg/ml Estrogens: Total 558 pg/ml FSH: 0.7 L (mlu/ml) LH: 4.9 mlu/ml Progesterone: 1.8 ng/ml Testosterone: 87 ng (slightly high) I have extremely painfull periods and have been unable to concieve for a couple years.
Avatar f tn My day 3 included fsh, lh, E2 and an u/s.
Avatar f tn 29 ng/ml AMH, B inhibin 11,27 ng/l, FSH 5.19 mUl/ml, estradiol 18 pg/ml, Prolactine - 7,76 ng/ml, LH 4,31 mUI/ml. Do you think could Dostinex affect the result for AMH? A test 9 months ago, also day 3 test, showed AMH 0.94 microg/L, FSH 4.35 mIU/ml, estradiol 26.55 pg/ml. I have some problems with Prolactine - levels taken in 3 different years (2004, 2005, 2009) showed 23.09 ng/mL, 32.56, 42.01. I took Bromocriptin and lately I have taken Dostinex.
Avatar f tn I am 40 years old, I just received a repeat FSH and it is 24.4 my estradiol level is 27.7. A year ago my CD4 FSH was only 9.9 but my estradiol was 80...what could cause such a reversal of results and what does the estradiol level mean in relation to the FSH level? I had an HSG which came back normal, I had an ultrasound done last year as well which during that time my RE saw an egg which he said looked healthy being ready to be released from my left ovary.
