Also, can you tell me if my Ovulation will be delayed...guess I am not sure what exactly the estradiol will do? I am on 3rd month of clomid, took 50mg first two months and now 100mg and now dr put me on estradiol (days 10-14) started the estradiol yesterday. Thank you!

Can someone please tell me what is a normal estradiol level for a HCG trigger and ovulation? Was on Menopur 225 iu. for 9 days pre-trigger. My level was 225 - 4 days before iui. Day of iui I had 4 follicles - 2 at 17.5 mm, 1 at 15, and 1 at 14. My RE thought 3 were mature. My progesterone level 5 dpiui was 23.63. Thanks for any info.

t have PCOS, but I was not ovulating regularly. I took 50 MG of CLomid and then was on estradiol supplements to increase my uterine lining as it was way too thin.

t know tons, but I know that I have low estradiol along with low progestrone and that is preventing me from having a regular period each month, which prevents ovulation. Is your level's high or low?

m in my late 30s - the first month I was tested, my estradiol was 374 and my FSH 5.2. The next month my estradiol dropped to 87 and my FSH increased to 10.1. I'm at a loss of whether I should keep trying or just say that a baby isn't in my cards. Anyone else heard of estradiol dropping hundreds of points in a single month?

Yesterday i went to the doctor , he did a ultrasound and discovered i have PCOS . He has put me on femara and estradiol. Has anyone ever taken this? Does anyone have any success stories of getting pregnany and having PCOS ? God Bless you all .

This then gets the body into menopause and then i start puregon injectables (gonal f) and then ovidrel and then IUI. I just spoke to the clinic and they dont want me to start the nasal spray -as it looks like I havent ovulated - blood test done on CD20 at 9am. I detected an LH surge last Tuesday (19th Feb). Your estrogen does continue to increase during the first part of your cycle and hits a peak right before ovulation. The estrogen is needed to help build the lining and it also helps improve the cervical mucus. I'm not sure how much of an impact a low level has on day 3, as the levels are generally much lower then anyway. I guess it all depends on how much it increases as you get closer to ovulation. My estriodol level went up slightly to a whopping 184 on Friday cd13. The doc wants me to come in on MOnday for another check to see if I am ready for (trigger shot+ ) IUI early in the week. I had four follies on cd 12 measuring 12,11,11,9, etc. and the dr sent me home to grow a few more days. I hear stories of people having really high estriodol levels and mine is just under 200 with 4 follies. I am concerned this e2 level isn't strong enough for IUI and and I don't want the dr.

i am currently taking 125 units of follistim and on cycle day 13 today. yesterday went for us and labs, saw 3 follicles, largest 17, smallest 15. estradiol level was 1146. they want me to come back again monday for another us and labs. with estradiol level that high, doesnt that mean something is mature and i should trigger. i do have pcos, and don't want all 4 to release. any thoughts or ideas?

Hemoglobin and glucose tests. All tests came back NORMAL. I had a procedure done to check my uterus and tubes. All clear and positioned normally. Progesterone test in June showed that I ovulated. I had a light period, we tried to conceive again. However, test in July (this mo) showed I did not ovulate. I am waiting for my period and now its day 33 and no period/discharge of any sort. Just think, if in fact that high temperature was due to a fever, a sleep disturbance or whatever and not ovulation, having increased levels of progesterone would keep you from ovulating. I believe your RE is only taking precautions.

This is my first month on Clomid, 50mg cycle days 3-7. I was also on Estradiol cycle days 8-12 and am now on progesterone suppositories cycle day 17 until I get my period or a positive pregnancy test. I had an HCG trigger shot 10,000 units (Profasi, Pregnyl) on cycle day 15. This is also my first month using fertilityfriend to chart my basal body temps. I am almost 37 years old and doing a hormonal profile this month (b/w every other day, basically!!) I had Estradiol draws pre-o, and now Estradiol and Progesterone draws post-o! On Peak +3, my Estradiol was 70 (went from 104 to 323 to 70) and my progesterone was 5.8. It is only 3DPO, but I am trying to get an idea of whether it's a 'good' number or not - Any help will be appreciated!!!!

During your period and when nothing is going on with reproductive organs, less than 50 is normal....so I would say that as long as you were on your period and not near ovulation, 38.7 sounds good. It increases when your follicles are developing (before ovulation), decreases during ovulation and then pops up again briefly, then back to <50..... Like I said, it all depends on where you were at in your cycle when the level was drawn.

FSH: 4.5 and Estradiol 59. The levels yesterday 3/29/10 (day 10) were: FSH: 9.7 and Estradiol 163. I am using OPK's per the direction of my fertility doctor on cycle days 12-21 (I started early and have been getting negative results - not surprising since I know that it might be too soon to ovulate). The level at that time was 45, then they retested it on the 3rd day of my cycle and it came back at 42. My endo ran the estradiol and testosterone during ovulation because the estrogen level is suppose to rise during this time. This time it came back again at 42. Does this help?

Tested for FSH, Estradiol, Progesterone, Prolactin, and TSH. I need help understanding the implications of my results which I think indicate an imbalance. I had my trigger shot yesterday at 9am. My doc prescribed estradiol, prometrium (both in pill form) and progesterone suppositories for the next 2 weeks until my pregnancy blood test. Anyone else on these and do you know why? My doc just said my hormone levels were very low and he wanted to me take these to sustain the embryo if it does implant. hi dr i need ur expertise once again i took the meds as my dr prescribe and i dnt think the clomid as work for me this month if u remember i took provera to make my period come and i took clomid 3-7 and estradiol 8-12 today is cd 29 and i was suppose to do and preg test on cd27-28 and both test come back negative...and i had an hsg test done 2008 and i didnt have any blockage everything was fine...

now its been 4 months and nothing. i was just tested last week for FSH, prolactin, TSH, and estradiol and everything came back fine. what should be my next step?
