12250128 tn?1433256723 I have been episode free for around 3 weeks so I am hoping things are settling down. I seem to feel much better know that it is colder and and the humidity of the summer is gone and less time at work with the holidays has helped. Back to the grind this week so time will tell.
Avatar m tn I am so much against back surgery unless absolutely necessary due to the fact that so many end up with worse problems. I had quite a bit of lower back pain and then I didn't. So, I'm hoping yours went away. Stretching is my saving grace. Ho are you now?
Avatar f tn I know I want an infant seat and have debated between evenflo and baby trend (they both have ergonomic handles), baby trend seems to be the safer of the brands. My local stores don't carry them in stock so I will have to order from the internet. I just want to know if all the carseats are the same with just different colors or if the carseats are different. Walmart and Target are the 2 sites I have looked at (free shipping).
480448 tn?1426948538 I've posted a photo of the letter we received from the district outlining the changes to be put in place following the Sandy Hook tragedy. I apologize if it's hard to read, plus I edited out names for privacy purposes. I am actually shocked the district was so quick to implement these changes, and I'm pleased. I don't think the gun debate should have anything to do with what each school district decides to implement for their children's safety.
Avatar m tn Hey fellow forum members, Lately, I've been experiencing increased eye strain and fatigue, especially after long hours of screen time. I'm sure many of you have faced similar issues. I'm reaching out to seek advice and tips on how to reduce eye strain effectively. Are there specific exercises, ergonomic changes, or perhaps blue light filters that have worked wonders for you? I'm open to any suggestions to make my work hours more comfortable and protect my eyes.
Avatar f tn No you only get the food and baby food and baby cereal and formula and to borrow a breast pump if needed I work for wic:) in tx
Avatar f tn The pain increases as i work more at home and office. There is very little in the mroning and as i begin my households and return from office, the pain increases. I was asked to go through MRI scan. The results say that there is dehydration on all the six discs from c2 to c7. My doctor said there was no problem and i have to go through phesiotherepy. I would like to know what exactly is dehydration in the discs and how can i strengthen my neck.
Avatar m tn So a few days ago I had some blood drawn. I waited in the office for about 5 min before the nurse came in to draw blood. The nurse opened a drawer, pull out some type of tube, an orange tube/container that probably contained the needle and set the stuff up and drew blood. Now I'm not saying that this needle was used, but my concern is that the needle came from a drawer that anyone could have accessed.

Avatar f tn I got an erganomoc chair, an erganomic back support that changes non ergonomic seats into ergonomic seats in the car house etc., I also sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees. Both of these reduced back pain for me a lot but when I added leg hip and back stretches to it the pain went away almost completely. I weighed 275 lbs. before I got pregnant and I weight almost 300 lbs.
Avatar f tn By the way, a friend of mine is a teacher. She had started a new medication for her mental health issues and unfortunately, had a psychotic break at school. She walked herself to the office knowing she needed to be away from her classroom. She'd called her husband to meet her who came immediately. They talked the principal and she left and her husband drove her to the emergency room. She took the next day off of work and they were getting her meds corrected.
Avatar n tn I develop numbness and tingling in my hands (right is much worse) at night, or if my hand is elevated for too long - e.g., non-ergonomic work station or driving). I use an over-the-counter (Futuro, I believe) wrist brace at night, which pretty much alleviates the symptoms. Because of the palmar rod in my brace, I am unable to use it for driving, and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good wrist brace or gloves to alleviate the tingling and pain that occurs when I'm driving?

Avatar f tn T allow them to be in proximity of the baby. I would just have to be as blunt and honest about things as possible to ensure the safety of my baby. Good luck and best wishes.
Avatar n tn You need to contact your doctor ASAP and let him/her know what's going on and that your inhaler is not helping. It could be an early infection, an asthma attack, something related to the pregnancy - it's really hard to know. But for the health and safety for both yourself and your baby, please see your doctor as soon as you can.
Avatar m tn s why even a single case has to be taken seriously. A safety signal from any study - and not just safety data from short term efficacy and safety studies (used for labeling) - needs to be evaluated. This means data from long term safety studies needs to be evaluated as well as the data from even longer, ongoing safety studies and from clinical pharmacology studies. Some of this information also needs to be examined during development of a drug.
Avatar f tn I asked specifically about taking Melatonin as I've always had sleep issues. My doctor told me that its better to steer clear and to take Unisom instead because Melatonin hasn't really been tested for safety in pregnancy.
Avatar f tn s jus weird idk if she was an actual nurse she worked in the hospital and had scrubs on and she was asking me where to insert the needle and how to use it so naturally questions would arise in my head after this I got tonsilitis and severe headaches so I thought I would ask to see the possibility of something like this actually happening
148588 tn?1465778809 The Government Accountability Office and rail safety advocates have questioned whether the Federal Railroad Administration is prepared for the inspections and approvals for PTC. Caltrain echoes those concerns. "I think they will be challenged from a resource point of view to get this done, and it seems likely that that is going to be a constraint on all of us," said Karen Antion, a consultant who is directing Caltrain's transition to the system.
1675985 tn?1323719076 Where do you live? I know there are different, safety established options in both Canada and the US. I also suffered greatly from morning sickness in both of my pregnancies and understand how awful it can be. Can you call your doctor's office and express your concern and ask for a safety established option? Insist to speak with him/her today. I tried googling the drug but couldn't find anythign other than warnings against taking it while pregnant.
Avatar m tn however, each procedure carries with it certain risks and benefits and the discussion should take place between you and your eyeMD. Become educated further so you can make the right decision for you. Dr. Feldman Sandy T. Feldman, M.D., M.S.
Avatar m tn I think I understand what you are suffering from. I have to work on computers for hours and I've suffered from back and neck aches. If you don't have a choice to avoid working like that then you should take care of few things; proper posture, regular exercise to your body (simple ones which you can do being in your workstation), take small walk (4 to 5 times daily) within your office, drink lots of water. These are just precautions that will help you avoid severe damage to your body.
