Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

Avatar m tn Other causes may be psychological, smoking, alcohol, illicit drugs and medical conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart or thyroid conditions, poor circulation, low testosterone, depression, spinal cord and neurological causes. In your case it looks more psychological. Regarding the bulging veins on the penis, it can be due to Mondor’s disease which should be ruled out from a urologist. I hope it helps.
Avatar m tn It is true that diabetes can cause erectile dysfunction but even people with prediabetes may experience erectile dysfunction (ED). This is because nerve damage can occur even before a type 2 diabetes diagnosis, when a person has prediabetes. Poorly managed blood sugar control can damage the blood vessels and nerves, including the blood vessels and nerves in the penis. This type of nerve damage can prevent a man from getting and sustaining an erection.

Avatar f tn Took an MR scan of my head and back, also taken blood samples which show I do not have any vitamin deficiencies (although a slightly low level of vit D), or high blood pressure. The doctors cant seem to find out what causes it. For the last year I have had a sensitive stomach to alcohol and acidic food which causes my left upper stomach to feel uncomfortable. Could there be a link between my stomach and my numbness? Also took antibiotics two months before this started.
Avatar m tn Smoking and other tobacco use cause blood vessels to narrow, contributing to blockages that can lead to erectile dysfunction. Smoking also can decrease nitric oxide levels. •Avoid excessive alcohol. Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol can cause ED by damaging blood vessels. In general, for men that means no more than two alcoholic drinks a day. For women, it should be no more than one. •See a urologist. Urologists have special expertise in sexual health.

Avatar m tn Your blood pressure and antidepressant meds are probably effecting your sex life. Since you are taking a blood pressure med I'm not sure if you can take something like Viagra. You'll have to talk to your Dr and tell him/her what's going. Maybe lowering your antidepressant dose might help. Only you and your Dr can decide this though.
Avatar n tn Do not worry, the erectile dysfunction is not because low blood pressure, but most probably it is a side effect of the medication that you are taking. Low BP, I will tell you what my cardiologist told me after my heart attack "unless that you faint... take all your pills and do not worry about low BP" Of course we are all different but I went as low as 75/40 and never fainted.
Avatar m tn i suspect its a blood pressure drop or increase, either one of those extremes can cause ed, plz consult a doctor.
