Avatar n tn I just want to say you are NOT stupid. IVF is very complicated, and there is a lot to think about and remember. When I first got all my meds, I felt so overwhelmed just looking at them. Luckily for me, my RE's office prepared a great instruction sheet (3 pages long) for each step of the way. Each time I had a test, or a medication, I just wrote it on the sheet next to the appropriate place. I took it one step at a time, and referred back to the sheet often.
Avatar m tn Trimix as you may have realized is a Rx Formulary which has several variations on the mix of three ingredients which the Urologist prescribes. The prescription is in vial of usually 10 CC and is injected in the side of the penis shaft. Syringe is usually 1/2" 30 gauge, with initial dose of .15cc. A powder form/fluid and mixed within inhector, is available yet not commonly prescribed and that is injected into the uretha.
Avatar f tn for a month but no instruction sheet or counter-indications as far as drug interaction. Would there be any problem with the above that I am taking and this drug? Also, I just lost (and want to continue to lose weight) 16 pounds on a diet program and don't want to regain that weight! Does Bystolic cause weight gain?
874521 tn?1424116797 I am taking Lyrica for my fibromyalgia. I just started it yesterday. Believe it or not, I had 7 hours of sleep last night with almost no pain. It can have bad allergic reactions so keep in tough with your doctor and read the instruction sheet for side effects. Don't drive until you see how it effects you. I got a little dizzy but that should go away when I get used to the drug. Good Luck.
Avatar n tn So I think Dr’s should just give out a printed instruction sheet where they can list things very specifically so there’s no misunderstanding.
Avatar n tn m also allergic to several medications (antibiotics) and my doctor said I might need an epipen when I take them to keep me alive until I get to a hospital. Just about all antibiotics close my throat. But I thought epipens contained epiphenephrine, and was told by a friend that it's bad for those with a heart arrhythmia. Has anyone here with PVCs had to use an epipen for an anaphlactic shock reaction, and if so, was it safe for the heart? Thanks.
1486435 tn?1316470899 I have my test in two weeks and they told me to have a normal breakfast before coming in.
Avatar n tn I vaguely remember the dental assistant saying that I should change the gauze every 20 minutes, which is what I did twice. However, upon arriving at home and reading the information sheet I was given, it says to not touch it for 2 hours to help promote blood clot formation and healing. I am a little stressed that I might have caused some damage. Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do make it better?

Avatar n tn Hello I have severe reactions from insect stings especially bee stings. Its so bad that 1 or 2 stings will put me into anaphylactic shock. I have over 5000+ PVC's a day and the docs say it is a supposed benign condition. (which I do not believe). My wife has never had a pvc or palpitations. Anyways, I have to carry around a epipen everywhere I go. Last year I was working in my back yard and was stung twice, once in the face under the eye and once in my arm.
Avatar m tn Oh, and read your post-op instruction sheet. It should be helpful.
Avatar f tn My dr told me to only call / go in if I'm bleeding, feel less fetal movement meaning 6 hrs or more of no movement, if my water breaks or if I'm having more than 4 contractions in 1 hr. I'm 34wks today, did you get a 34 wk instruction sheet at your last apt?

Avatar n tn Houston is right. I had my transfer was today. On my "after transfer" instruction sheet under "common/normal occurrences after transfer: spotting and cramping for a few days after transfer, also noticing brown vaginal discharge and/or bleeding. This is straight from the sheet. Hope this makes you feel better. Try not to worry. Everything will be okay.
Avatar n tn Hi, welcome to the forum, as such epipen are not available yet. Epipen delivers a measured dose of epinephrine (also known as adrenaline) using autoinjector technology, most frequently for the treatment of acute allergic reactions to avoid or treat the onset of anaphylactic shock. In certain cases it can be used to stop local bleeding. Alternatively, the same drug can be given by the local health care provider or you need to go to emergency department.
Avatar n tn he is attending kindergarden and his teacher has been complain that he does not follow instruction does not complete his task, he gets distracted a lot and also tries to distract others in the class, he screams at class. Her does the same at home but what i notices he has very little attention span. He view TV a lot. I tried to strict with him and also tried to appreciate him for his achievements but he does not seem to listen...
Avatar m tn Thanks for the suggestion, but there is no information in the instruction sheet along the lines of having a bit of food or milk to settle the stomach when taking big 1g or 2g doses of Zithromax. I have asked a couple of pharmacists and they have different opinions. I am hoping that Dr. Handsfield or Dr. Hook have an opinion or that a MedHelp member has actual experience and could help me out.
Avatar f tn Pregnancy tests always have an instruction sheet in them. It's almost impossible, in my opinion, to use them incorrectly. You could in fact be pregnant. I'm confused about the "the day after I had my period". Did you have unprotected sex that day? How are you not sure if he ejaculated in you? Have you asked him if he did? Pre-ejaculate does contain trace amounts of sperm, and it only takes one to get pregnant.
Avatar f tn I'm getting the glucose test next month and I don't need to fast. It says it bold on my instruction sheet. Im doing the 1 hr one. But my doc said to never fast when ur preggos too.
645800 tn?1466860955 I am very allergic to bee and wasp stings to the point that I can die from a sting within about 1/2 hour or so. As a result I am suppose to carry an EpiPen with me at all times ( especially since there are a lot of wasps and bees around my home ). But despite this the couple of times I have been stung I have never been able to give myself the much needed shot. And to make matter worse I always have 2 reactions to each sting.
Avatar f tn Mine's in the morning and they gave me an instruction sheet at my last appt - it says fasting isn't necessary but just don't eat or drink anything after you finish the drink.... my test is next week (at my 28 week appt) and I am really not looking forward to it...
Avatar n tn I was rushed to emergency, given benedryl and sent home 4 hours later. I got an Epipen for I was told, although rare, that I could have a secondary reaction within the next week. Sure enough November 5 I had a second reaction (bi-phasic reaction). I was given the epipen by my mother for I passed out and couldn't give it myself. Back to the hospital.
Avatar f tn You may need an Epipen if it becomes more severe but in the meantime see a physician and buy some Benadryl.
Avatar f tn Do I really need sheet savers for my baby's crib? I mean theyre inly like 10 dollars but if I dont need it I dont really want it? I have a waterproof mattress pad is that good enough?
981719 tn?1249709067 You should of recieved an instruction sheet from the clinic or ?? where you had RAI. It's usually 10 days post RAI to be with people - I believe intamacy is longer though. 6 mths from what I remember? You were prepared for immediate RAI because of the "type" of cancer found. There is a alot of info on RAI in our Health Pages. Take a peek at that.
