enbrel and yeast infections

Were you tested for Candida, this is a type of yeast/fungal infection and it certainly can cause some of the symptoms you are describing. You can Google Candida and get some very good info on it.

I've been on Enbrel for almost 9 years. I've recently been developing tremors in my hands, cheeks (when I smile), and tongue. Talked to my rheumy. He doesn't think it's the Enbrel, but I am growing more concerned. They're not bad, but they do seem to be progressing.

I have had two shots of Humira, I constantly have sinus issues, pain pressure, teeth hurt and hedaches. I got them on enbrel and after 9 years it quit working, so tired remicade but after 4 infusions I had such a bad insus probelm I quit it also raised my blood pressrue a lot. I don't seem to be able to handle hard core antibidoics so I can take zpack, and it helps, but I always seem to be back on it alteast every two months.

t praise the drug enough fantastic results - i have the chance to visit family in Australia for 4 months when i retire in 18 months time the only obstacle is my medication and how would it work with my getting enbrel injections and it is a long flight - is there a solution around this problem

I'm in the same vote. On enbrel and have developed hpv. Very tiny bumps if even noticeable at all, but its been spreading. Aldara only made my psoriasis and psa flare up. I guess the next thing is to stop enbrel till my hpv clears up? I am 29, male, non smoker. Enbrel is the only med I take.

Has anyone had multiple yeast/BV infections? I've had 3 so far and I think I'm having another! I'm going to ob tomorrow and I'm sure I'll get some meds. It's frustrating. Anyone Else?!?! Please help.

Doctor, I would like information related to Enbrel and MS. I used Enbrel for less than one year. My problem is that when I get off Enbrel, every joint in my body swells, turns red, hurts unbearably and locks up. I become completely bedridden and cannot get dressed or go to the bathroom without help. My blood tests show that, even with the Enbrel, my c reactives and other immune response numbers are very high. They tell me that they will give me prednisone to help with the reaction.

I used to get yeast infections every time I had intercourse. The only way I was able to stop this from happening was by douching with a vinegar and water rinse right after having sex. It was a major inconvenience but it definitely stopped the ongoing yeast infections. And on those occasions when I was too "lazy" or "relaxed" to get up and douche, the infection would return without fail. A vinegar douche really does help, but it is a major "mood disrupter.

You cant have vaginal sex and then go right to anal sex or vice versa. Its not healthy and it brings bacteria. The yeast infection you probably had, but had sex with your husband anyways before getting treated and then you keep passing to each other. That happened with me and BF. But...if you have no signs of a yeast infection, then your husband is the one that needs to go to the doctor to get medicine to clear it up.

Never had the cough or metal taste during the time I used Reumofan. I am not back on Enbrel, and not happy about it. I take say 15mg, 1x weekly...or something like that. Just enough to take the edge off. Reumotolgist approved this dosage. About a month off Reumofan, Dr wanted to check my blood just to see if there were any steroid use indicated. I gained 15# and I never gain weight. Blood tests came back negative for anything.
