All of you who are familiar with my story (and my incessant complaining about my job) but I leave on maternity leave on 11/08. I have made the decision NOT to come back. I loved my job until this lunatic started. Anyway, all of my time replenishes at the beginning of the year. Should I take my vacation and then quit or should I do what's nice and not take it. I feel resentful because I feel they pushed me out of my job. Since this new person started...I dunno I just feel funny.

I know it's good to have a sense of humor ...but I'm honestly sick of the pregnancy jokes already! Maybe it's because I work around a lot of employees plus I work with the public so it's pretty much constant but I'm so annoyed already and I'm only 27 weeks !!

Does anyone else get offended by jokes that people always make about STDs, particularly herpes? Since I just got diagnosed with herpes I find them very offensive now. My question is should I be offended? And why do people find herpes so funny?

i have an employee who just started taking lorazapam, ambien & zoloft. what should I be concerned with?

The reason the waiters followed Jerry Was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, "I don't get it! You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?

I'm not trying to be insensitive, i just don't want an employee to use diabetes as an excuse to get the schedule they want. This person has been given the same early shift every time scheduled. I am now asking that they do one 10am to 630pm shift with lunch a week as opposed to all 7am- 330shift. they say they can't do it because of their insulin. if they are being truthful, i have no problem keeping the schedule the same.

I have an employee who has cold sores frequently. I have another employee that shares work surfaces and other office equipment with this employee (copy machines, staplers, fax machines, etc). Should we be sanitizing these work surfaces regularly? The employee is concerned and frankly I don't know what to tell her!

So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.

He is constantly complaining about how tired he is and how his back has been bothering him and how he just cant sleep at night...at least he can take sleep meds.

In March 20, 2008 I fell at work. Hit floor hard, mainly hit R knee hard on floor, all weight went on it. They gave me an X-Ray, Ibuprofen, PT for R knee said it was ok & I was discharged from care & resumed normal work status. I started complaining of pain again shortly after. I had to drag my leg around because it would give out on me while at work. It would swell up. I kept having pain towards the inner part of my knee (where both knees rub onto each other).

So i love my boyfriend and i am so glad he is giving me the blessing of our first child. But sometimes i feel he isn't mature enough to raise a child. The jokes he makes are a bit insulting and he doesnt take it as seriously as i wish he would.. did any other girls have this problem?
