my cousin recently died we would smoke spice all the time we just got done smoking a bowl of spice resin and went inside to play xbox when he had a stroke right in front of my eyes he had a long history of heart surgery's and diebetes but could spice cause a 19 year old boy to have a stroke...or brain swelling?
There are other ways to treat nausea. Smoking 'spice' is more dangerous than smoking pot. I don't recommend either one. But 'spice' has chemicals in it that are AWFUL for your body, and can cause all sorts of negative effects like nausea. Please look into another way to treat this without the 'spice'. Your doctor can help.
He needs to stop smoking that spice. It's a synthetic marijuana and has side effects that the real stuff doesn't even have.

My daughter and her BF had a roomate that smoked that stuff. It's not good. Apparently it is herbs with something that they call synthetic THC. A bunch of chemicals. Here in Utah they are making it illegal because it's considered hazerdous. Google "smoking spice dangers" and there is alot of stuff on it. I think it is telling that there is a push in some states to legalize pot, and yet they are banning that stuff right and left.
I should have simply stated WHAT it was, not pontificated about the legality of it. It was almost like I was regressing to my own smoking of it and the BS I told my mom. (thinking of course that it wasn't BS at all, at the time). Sorry if I was misleading in the innocuousness of it. Best of luck with your daughter!
If even temporarily. My boyfriend and I had lots of friends on spice and it ruined them, a lot of people are lucky to even recover after a month or so of quitting. It took one bad trip for me and we were both done with that garbage!

I know he is very depressed, has never dealt with his sons death and the guilt he felt over the fact that I had been raising him. He is now smoking so much of this spice that he will pass out standing up and spend nights out in his shed. Well I just walked outside to find him and his dad smoking spice, I smelled it right when I walked out and they are still trying to hide it from me like I'm stupid! I use to smoke and know the signs of someone hiding it.. And if he has to hide something from his wide,why do it in the first place! Marijuana can cause panic attacks in some people. Mainly in people who have been smoking for a long time, however, I suffered panic attacks after only 4 months of smoking. Marijuana stimulates the pleasure cells in your brain. If you wan't a scientific answer do a web search. You are not going to do permanent damage to your brain from a couple nights of drinking and smoking pot. I don't mean to encourage doing things that have some risk of creating dependency, but the actions of cannabis are temporary-- as are most of the effects of alcohol-- provided you aren't drinking to the point of alcohol toxicity (for example, drinking so much that you pass out, repeatedly).
The severity of the difference would also be dependant on the length of your Herceptin treatment. Oncologists monitor these side effects very closely and I'm sure your Onc. will take this into consideration and discuss the risks of continuing your treatment. s supposedly legal to smoke this ****) Everytime I smoked it I would get serious panic attacks,too the point where I thought I was dying. The night of my 3rd time smoking spice, I had the biggest panic attack of my life, I didn't even sleep the whole night, but ever since then the way I see things is dreamlike (I've researched it and and this is supposedly a symptom for depersonilization). A week after that I went to the emergency room because I thought I was dying.
