ve smoked since the age of 16 and been diabetic since 27 as some one mentioned earlier the only bad of smoking and being diabetic IS THE MUNCHIES and not having the suitable foods to go with this condition i find that nuts and mountain dew {diet of course} work really well for me or veggie mix and an lite dip.

t miss a condom failure, even when drunk. You seem to have a good enough recollection of the events of that night, based on your descriptions...you would have noticed if the condom broke. They break catastrophically, not subtly.

I had my second son at 36 weeks and he had to spend 2 weeks in NICU to help with his breathing. I would suggest to wait one more week of being uncomfortable is worth your baby being as healthy as possible!

I find vyvanse and/or Ritalin to be helpful in terms of making me alert and functional which of course has the secondary benefit of improving my executive function issues. With adderall not only am I more alert but it also has a marked impact on my executive function and task management in addition to the wakefulness. It is unfortunately a little harder to sleep and more concerning is I seen to have developed a mild sore throat and am constantly clearing my throat all day.
Marijuana can cause panic attacks in some people. Mainly in people who have been smoking for a long time, however, I suffered panic attacks after only 4 months of smoking. Personally, marijuana affects on me were : increased taste, increased hunger, increased sense of hearing, increased sexual pleasure, increased interest in simple or mundane activities, increased paranoia, and sedation.
m explaining all of this because I want the poster, Missy, to know that the damage done from smoking meth in your home is likely far more prolific and toxic than you can imagine. I've done extensive research in order to learn how to clean the residue. You cannot. Meth produces a vapor, not actually smoke. It changes forms when it comes into contact with moisture or even just movement from daily activity, whether steam from a shower or vacuuming the floor. It doesn't disappear, ever.

You are not going to do permanent damage to your brain from a couple nights of drinking and smoking pot. I don't mean to encourage doing things that have some risk of creating dependency, but the actions of cannabis are temporary-- as are most of the effects of alcohol-- provided you aren't drinking to the point of alcohol toxicity (for example, drinking so much that you pass out, repeatedly).
The severity of the difference would also be dependant on the length of your Herceptin treatment. Oncologists monitor these side effects very closely and I'm sure your Onc. will take this into consideration and discuss the risks of continuing your treatment. The longer the treatment the less the incidence of heart damage but each case is different. Regards ....

There is not much standardized research done on this due to the illegal nature of marijuana. You can find MANY websites on the effects of cannibis and blood sugar, though and I am surprised you are on this one asking questions. Who knows? I think your experiment is a good idea no matter what, because if you want to stop this med you should taper off slowly at a speed that suits you to be safe. As for pain, these meds cause all kinds of side effects when you're on them and when you try to go off them, and pain is a common symptom.
I have a close friend who has been addicted to marijuana for a long time, she also smoked during her pregnancy and no they did not test her for it when she gave birth. I don't know much on the effects of marijuana use during pregnancy but I strongly suggest that you look into that for the benefit of the baby. I know that she breastfed for quite a while, continuing to pass the drug onto her child. Our sons are the same age and have been friends since infancy.
I still continued to smoke for a couple of days, but only a couple of puffs from my husbands cigarette 2-3 times a day, then I looked online about the effects off smoking whilst pregnant and quit straight away! There are times when I would like a cigarette but I care for my unborn baby a million times more than a dirty fag! Weather or not you agree with smoking pot morally is irrelevant here, this is just very odd & I haven't found any answers. The problem showed up suddenly enough to just deem it "cotton mouth" & ignore it a while, but it is not. I had been smoking pot, no cigarettes, for nearly 7 years before this happened. I have since slowed down my pot smoking to cope with this, but here is what I observed when I was smoking consistently.

I take melatonin, not nightly, but maybe two or three or four nights a week. I have tried to read up on side effects and have not found much information at all. I don't notice any side effects, myself.
Since melatonin is a short-acting drug, and the therapeutic effects of it do not seem to last long at all, I'm thinking that any side effects would not last longer than a few hours or a day or two -- at most -- after you discontinued using it.
