LOL This is totally normal and the catnip is not bad for cats at all. I've had lots of cats flip around and eat catnip!! I usually throw a toy for them when they roll around. It is so funny to watch them!!
I was wondering if anyone has used herbal remedies for the treatment of mild Anxiety? I am considering trying an Herb for my anxiety but I have read about so many herbal treatments that I don't know which to choose. I have read about valerian, passion flower, ashwaganda, and chamomile and they all seem to be pretty effective. Has anyone had success with this form of treatment?
Both of our cats immediately started rubbing over, licking, and chewing on the stumps. Neither seems to have had any sort of ill effects yet (it's been maybe two weeks now), but they both still seem to gravitate to the stumps and won't leave them alone. Will this cause any long-term damage to the cats?
Also, see if he likes catnip. The majority of cats respond well to catnip. They look so funny. I spread it in the bathtub (not in my bathtub, the cat's) and there he goes, rolling around acting all crazy about his catnip.
I'm glad you're keeping him inside. Don't let him get out even if he begs. He'll only find bad things on the streets. Unfortunately, mankind has a talent for destroying that which is willing to love him. Go figure.

Marijuana can cause panic attacks in some people. Mainly in people who have been smoking for a long time, however, I suffered panic attacks after only 4 months of smoking. Marijuana stimulates the pleasure cells in your brain. If you wan't a scientific answer do a web search. Personally, marijuana affects on me were : increased taste, increased hunger, increased sense of hearing, increased sexual pleasure, increased interest in simple or mundane activities, increased paranoia, and sedation.
The only solution I know of is that every time your cat tries to take something with a different mint from you, like your tea or some gum is to give the cat some dried catnip. Of course, I say that with confidence only because my cat seems to only want catnip on occasion and not everyday. If I offer her catnip when she isn't really interested, she ignores the offer. So, you could try this. I think I would put my purse in a different location, though, just to be on the safe side.
You are not going to do permanent damage to your brain from a couple nights of drinking and smoking pot. I don't mean to encourage doing things that have some risk of creating dependency, but the actions of cannabis are temporary-- as are most of the effects of alcohol-- provided you aren't drinking to the point of alcohol toxicity (for example, drinking so much that you pass out, repeatedly).
