I am still undiagnosed and as it seems will not be any time soon, even if I have a lot of symptoms. What I wanted to ask is, I have read that smoking can cause more often relapsing or going into progressive form of disease. I am ex smoker considering cigarettes (commercial ones which you inhale in lungs), but I occasionally smoke Cuban cigar which you do not inhale but you just puff into your mouth and out. I cannot find anything for them.

I find that very hard to believe. I think the affects of smoking go away with a certain period of time, so one a month will not "build" up into a problem. I honestly need a doctors opinion on this but maybe some help from the public will be good as well.
Please don't post saying that i will get addicted! i know these facts already as iv'e done alot of research on the topic. Don't post saying the kinds of cancer i can get, i know that already.
None of the people I was with, seemed to have any cold sores on their mouth, from what I could see. I did have a cigar and drank a lot that night and the food I ate was not the healthiest.

I'm a male 18 year old, and have had hearing loss all my life. I'm also 8weeks 5days. I smoke too but ever since I have found out I'm pregnant I have cut down a lot. It's really hard to quit. So I leave my lighter and cigar (I smoke black & mildes) at my house while I go to work, up town or anywhere. That way I'm at least not tempted all day, just when I'm home. Smoking cigars, celebrating and thinking nothing of it cause kinda drunk also, but had a bleeding cut on bottom lip from bad dry weather. Stupidly shared cigar with couple other guys not caring and noticed other guy bleeding from his lips. Hi, Smoking really is hard to stop. It took me several attempts. After I quit for good I was still patting my shirt pocket for that pack of Marlboro's for a few months. One time I quit and started again I was feeling great after a week and a buddy of mine's wife had a baby. He gave me a cigar and I smoked it but didn't inhale. That was enough to get me started again!
