Avatar f tn This depends of the theory of eating -- there are quite a lot. It also depends on if you have arthritis -- nightshades, for example, can make it worse. There are always foods that are better, neutral, and not so good within every category, but since there are so many theories of eating, and different food tolerances, this isn't answerable in general but only in a way that's specific way to you.
Avatar f tn Carrots and green beans are both excellent, as are greens. Corn is very starchy and should be avoided or limited to an occasional serving. I agree that cut up, raw veggies are a good snack option. Make the dip with plain Greek yogurt and you also have your protein serving, along with the veggies. You might also try veggie juice, such as V-8 - be sure to opt for the low sodium variety. I sometimes, drink a can of this, when I realize I'm not getting enough veggies.
Avatar f tn I'm sure you've already noticed that since you're pregnant, everyone around you is going to feel like it's their duty to give you their unsolicited opinion. I'm not a nutritionist, so I don't really know how to answer your question. I'm not sure if just drinking the juice is enough, but it's obvious you're trying. The point of my post is to tell you she shouldn't have tried to scare you like that.

Avatar f tn Eat 3-4 small meals n snack in between make sure you're getting your prenatals n eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, Remember it's not how much you eat it's what you eat. Keep that in mind and ull eat the right amount for you and your baby, congrats n good luck!!!
Avatar f tn because i have it too but not of afraid of eating. your brother may be right. stay away from foods that will make your stomach even more upset. if your trying to eat more take a little bit at a time you dont want to over eat either. remember baby steps. good luck!

I now use a foid journal app and make sure I get enough serves of vegetables, fruits, dairy, grains, and protein. I've learnt a lot this pregnancy and will probably keep it up when bub is born.

Avatar f tn I see you recommend pediasure or homemade milk shakes for extra calories for toddlers that are not eating well. Isnt this just going to drown their little appetites more and cause them to be even less hungry for nutritous meals? I am sure my son would drink these if I offered them, but what about getting them to eat a variety of foods and use those jaw muscles and teeth to chew. My son hates chewing and giving him milkshakes would not help his aversion.

Improvement allowed me to dispose of pillow. I went to see my doctor and did a test for GERD. I don’t have GERD. Also, don’t have H-Pylori. No lump in throat. No pain on right side. Avatar m tn Dogs can go for a good amount of time without food but not water so good that she is drinking. I have never read a specific time but we have all heard stories of dogs going weeks without food. Of course, they end up in poor condition. I am sure a lot depends on the overall health of the dog to begin with. What have you tried feeding her? You might try some boiled chicken (no skin) and rice a few smaller meals given a day.

Avatar f tn It sounds like you are having troubles with your diet - eating every two hours, with no breakfast and probably junk foods, since you are not eating vegetables. This will most certainly lead to weight gain. You may be a food addict, but at this point, it will be hard to tell. I think changing the way you eat your food and correcting your diet will help tremendously. I would advise you to eat your breakfast - this is the most important meal of the day.
