Avatar m tn Hi, You can stick to protein-rich foods and eliminate nearly all fat and limit carbohydrate intake to lose weight. When your body finds that it does not have any carbohydrate easily available to it, it will start breaking down the fat to get energy and ends up burning more calories in the process. You should be careful to include carbohydrates in your diet so that you do not end up developing a carbohydrate craving resulting in binge eating.

Avatar f tn I have been formally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and possible Carbohydrate Intolerance. My issue is when I eat a load of carbs, it hits up to 3 days later and I can't hardly get out of bed and am weak most of the day. Everything I read about Carb Intolerance says that fatigue usually hits within the first few hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Carb crash, a day or days after the carbs are eaten?

I have taken steroids off and on for years and was wondering if coming off them would get my body to reproduce sperm again and if so how long before I'd have an idea if my body can make sperm. My urologist thinks it could be anything that could have caused the low sperm count, however I'm going after the most obvious.

He also suffers from depression and social anxiety for which he receives on-going treatment through counseling and medication.
