Im 38weeks and 3cm dilated. I had mine swept on the 3rd and still no baby. We did ours because baby is bigger than we thought and she doesnt want me going till the end to deliver. If by next week we still havent gone in labor were scheduling a induction.. I had mild cramping after the procedure but no true contractions through out the day. I had some spotting after the sweep and some mucousy discharge but that's it. Today I dont think I've even had a contraction.. still waiting.
t have any negative effect on my baby at all. The doctors all expected her to be on oxygen support for at least 6 weeks but she was off and breathing on her own in just over 3 weeks. We did have a long hospital stay (just under 3 months), but that was due to other problems with her struggling to keep her feeds down when she first started feeding on her own (she was tube fed for the first few weeks because she hadn't quite got the hang of the swallowing reflex).
As far as I know terbutaline does have effects on the baby but there is no documented evidence of it affecting a childs weight. Ask your doctor or better yet pharmacist who knws their drug interactions and contraindications well, to see if they know anything.
Plus have your daughters pediatrician evaluate her gastric enzymes. It could be that shes not producing sufficient amounts of appetite regulating hormones.

I thought for sure he would wait until after my due date. Contractions started late Sunday night. Definitely felt like painful period cramps. It took until Monday night for them to become 5 minutes apart at a minute each. We have an hour to drive but it was good. 4-5 cm dilated. Epidural shortly after which was heaven. Contractions slowed too much so was given pitocin. Around 8:30 Tuesday morning, I was given the go ahead to push.

not yesterday but the day before I had a curry the day after went to a country park for a walk with my family because it was nice weather got back and was having Braxton hicks contractions but they are stronger than normal and and have got them in my back also!! I had severe contractions all night last night with interval of 10 minutes which isso annoying coz my doctor said come when my contractions are 3-7 minites apart which only happened in the morning and we rushed to the hispital and there the contraction continued but what i was worried about was i might have to go back home with this pain if i wasnt dilated enough.
Yes the ring of fire is a pretty accurate description and it *****! But it only lasts a few minutes. I was far more uncomfortable having to lay down for 12 hours with the epidural with my second. & I didn't get a good one,so it was almost a full day before I could get up.
ve heard stories where women get induced and it makes the contractions 10x worse but it had the exact opposite effect on me.
t get anything started until 430am started feeling contractions around 9 maybe they broke my water I got to 4centimeters the contractions were not that strong but they kinda talked me into getting the epidural the doc and nurse said it was best to get stress off baby things would then progress faster so I went for it.
