i went to the dermatoligst and he said i have eczama but theres pink round circles on my palms that look like ringworm and funny round spots on my fingers he said i had eczema and gave me dexamethason and fluocinonide cream0.

Since you have a steroid cream I'm assuming you have been to a doctor. What does he say? Has she seen a dermatologist?

anyone can get ringworm and eczema. symptoms dont diagnose hiv...a test does.

Don't know if this will help you all, but I just found this article while researching the difference between eczema and ringworm. My daughter was diagnosed with ringworm, but I honestly think it's eczema from the way her skin reacted to being in the pool today. From reading everyone's postings, this article might help. Ringworm won't look like a pimple- so I don't think the pimple is really associated, it's like just a pimple that will heal up. If you haven't seen it clear up with the creams your doctor gave you, I'd recommend heading back to your doctor to have a second look- I'd lean more towards it's likely eczema if the cream you were given didn't clear it up.

i have a spot that is supposedly a ringworm. every sight i go to says ring worm is usually circular rough on the outside ring and smooth and healthy looking on the inside. the one on my arm is just the opposite. it is rough on the inside and smooth on the outside but both outside and inside are raised and redish.

I'm glad you're seeing a dermatologist, because that's what you need to do. This does not sound like eczema or ringworm, but it also does not sound at all like HIV or Kaposi's Sarcoma. I can't tell for sure from your description what you have, but the dermatologist might be able to tell just by looking or may do a biopsy or other test to find out what you have. Best. Dr.

My girlfriend had some problems with yeast infections a while back (mentioning just in case) I dont know if this is related but i also get faint red blotches on my chest that look somewhat like ringworm but not nearly as severe as ringworm though, and dont itch at all. I didnt even pay them any mind until someone told me i had them.

Hello I think i athletes feet on my hand I am waiting for the cultivate .05% lotion to clear out my skin that used for 6 days 1x daily . It has been 7 days . I wanted to know how long days would it take for flat round rings clear in middle on my palms to get dry or scaly without treatment because every picture I see has dryness, scaly etc. i do not have that. Unfortunatly my dermatologist wont culture cause she says has to be scaly to be ringworm & same with my feet.
