Hello, I have had this itchy rash on my left forearm since about a week or 2 before Christmas, so its going on about 6 weeks or so that I have noticed it. The rash started as a small red mark no bigger than the size of a dime, by the time Christmas passed, it had blown up to be almost 3/4 the length of a dollar bill.

Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, certain foods, plants, metals, cosmetics, dust mites etc. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.

The rash looks similar to pictures of contact dermatitis. The roof of my mouth feels itchy as well. I also developed upper respiratory tract infection with a slight runny nose, cough, and sore throat. I went to the doctor's office this morning and all he said was that I have a viral rash, which wasn't very helpful since that was the reason I came in in the first place.

I asked can eczema be found on the face because I have some bumps on my nose and cheeks and have had a small rash on my neck he replied no eczema is not common on the face. I have had two or three pimple like bumps one on penis and two spaced far apart around my penis.. I had this itchy rash since Jan. 2013 that would get itchy then bumpy with clear liquids that come out. It spread throughout the year and would come and go. Occasionally it will split open and bleed. I even bought Aveeno Eczema Therapy moisturizing cream, cetaphil soap (non-scented, of course), aveeno eczema body wash, etc. I don't even use scented lotions or perfumes or body spray. I tried bio oil for a while but it only dries it up and doesn't improve it. I try to not take hot showers (I adjust the temperature to keep it warm) but every time I do take a shower, I have the urge to scratch my skin.

I hope you will give the gluten free diet a try and see if it helps....but you have to be 100% gluten free...one little teeny weeny cheat can ruin your progress. Please could somebody take a look at the rash below, it started a couple of weeks ago just before I was about to move house. At first it was one red spot that got bigger and now its all over my tummy, chest, back, and has started to appear on my arms today.
