eczema

Avatar f tn Hello, From the picture that you have given,it looks like nummular or discoid eczema. It is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
20668025 tn?1503261651 My initial suspicion was heat rash or eczema. None of the rashes appear to be bumpy. The rash on my neck has a long welt where I believe I scratched it Thursday and the rashes on my arms have inflammed since Thursday due to excessive scratching. The skin irritation doesnt appear to hurt much but is definitely itchy and somewhat sore.
Avatar m tn Kaur, I have put up another picture. This is my first time using the website. I took the original picture down when I didn't receive a reply because I thought I might not receive one. On my scalp it feels a bit itchy and also a little sensitive to the touch. It's not extreme sensitivity, but the itchiness gets a bit severe. There are large flakes that come off of my skin. It is only underneath my facial hair and scalp hair. I have put the picture back on my website server.

Avatar n tn Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and sometimes by itching. No treatment is usually required. In most patients, the condition lasts only a matter of weeks or months (upto six months) If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Other possibilities have to be ruled out then. I hope it helps.
Avatar n tn I have a lump similar to that in the picture I've attached. What mine looks like is the area below that big hole and instead of being above the crack, it starts right about at the top and goes an inch or so down. I'm not sure if it's a cyst because I don't have that awful looking hole which is in the picture. This is also not the first time I've had this. It's very uncomfortable to sit on and hurts if I try to look at it.
Avatar n tn However, the appearance of eczema varies from person to person and varies according to the specific type of eczema. Sometimes, eczema may lead to blisters and oozing lesions, but eczema can also result in dry and scaly skin. Repeated scratching may lead to thickened, crusty skin. To confirm if it is still eczema, complete history and physical examination of the skin is important.

2091106 tn?1332817998 I'm calling it a rash, but I don't really know what it is. I took a picture of it and downloaded it as my profile picture. It itches and is a redish color. I have had it for a couple months and it hasn't gone away. I have been using Triamcinolone Acetonide cream from someone, but it hasn't helped. I don't have any money to see a doctor so any help would be great.
Avatar m tn Hello, From the description of your symptoms it sounds like eczema. Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, Solvents, chemicals, certain foods, food additives, plants, metals, cosmetics, even urine and faeces of some animals (dust mites). Apply mild steroid cream on the rash and keep it well moisturized. Also consult a dermatologist as oral steroids may be needed. I hope that helps.
Avatar m tn While i was there, he burnt off a portion of the rash with liquid nitrogen which did nothing (rash grew back as it heals). After 3 days of healing, I used the Dermatop Prednicarbate Emollient cream 0.1% and it has stopped the rash from growing, but it's not killing/reducing/atrophying the rash itself. Please any advice on how i can get rid of this rash?
Avatar f tn It's a little difficult to tell from the picture, but it could be psoriasis or eczema. Neither one will affect the baby, so no worries there...however, some creams and other meds may not be used during pregnancy. You will need to talk to your doctor or ob/gyn to determine which medications/creams will be safe to use. Have you used any new shampoos, conditioners, coloring, perm solution, or any soaps lately? These can all cause irritation such as in the picture.

Avatar m tn please check picture. I have this for more than 2 months now. first it was in a day very dry.. so I was itching it and removing the flakes. The skin became there thicker and it is as you see a circle. It seems that it started to heal but it didn't. Now 2 days it itches also a little bit from time to time. I am now covering it with creme and it looks like it looks in the picture, but when I did not use any creme, the skin became dry. Can this be a cancer? or what else? May be Psoriasis?

Avatar n tn All the dots were mostly circular in shape on my body. The rash on my arm was more scaly/rough/silvery. The dermatologist said it was eczema. The rash on my arm cleared up within a couple weeks of using a steroid cream, but a few of the dots on my stomach lingered for a couple months. After the dots disappeared on my stomach and back, they left little scars in their wake. My question is, is this normal? Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?
1571730 tn?1314725245 It's been 3 days and I've had the rash, the one in the picture it hasn't gotten better, and it seems to have blister (or fluid filled bumps) one ended up bleeing a bit yersterday and I have no clue what it is. I'm not sure if it is a heat rash or some kind of other rash. It hurts and itches really bad.
Avatar f tn I had a rash for 4 months. I should have taken a picture. My rash was thick raised, itched and covered my body from my neck to my ankles. I was miserable and scary looking but never on my face or hands. I tried everything that was out there nothing really worked, maybe a little bit of temporary relief. I didn't have the tiny dots. My husband had the dots on a small area of the upper part of his legs.
