Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but I would like to rule out eczema. Eczema is term for a group of medical conditions that cause the skin to become inflamed or irritated.It is often caused by allergies to common natural inhalants and intolerance to some foods but sometimes it is an overactive response by the body's immune system to a bacterium that normally lives on the skin or an irritant.

if they say it is eczema, it probably is because eczema comes in many different types. try very strong oily lotion and btw, swimming makes it worse.

in my eyebrows, the bridge of my nose, both my cheeks, and along my jawline on each side. it usually goes away for a while, but it always comes back. i took some pictures today if anyone would like to see them. it looks so horrible this morning that i had to stay home from work. it also goes into my gotee and moustache, turning them both red and burning, and also cause flaking. it also makes the outer skin around my nostrils really itchy!

Hello, Although the pictures resemble lesions of dyshidrotic eczema but since there is no itching,so this diagnosis needs to be reviewed. In my opinion,consultation of a dermatologist will be the best. Hope it helps.Take care and regards.

My new boyfriend has genital herpes and has been symptom free for 2 years (Carriers can transmit the disease without having any symptoms of an active infection). He also has eczema on both his inner thighs (a few inches below his genitalia). The eczema sites appear red and irritated though I am unaware of any discharge from them. My question is, even if we use a condom, could the genital herpes be spread through his eczema??? I'm panicked by the horrific genital herpes pictures!!! Help!

As I mentioned, some weird things like eczema appeared on my leg 1 week after (close to my penis). I used an eczema cream and it has almost disappeared from the first leg but starts appearing on the other one at the same place... Check out "lichen schlerosos" online in a medical dictionary that shows pictures, and see if you can find some pictures on dark skin, and read the description. Maybe that's what's going on. The other thing that it might be is vitiligo, but I've never heard that it hits the pubic area more (or sooner) than other places on the body.

But the bump I have down there I have compared to infected hair follicle pictures and it matches, but so does some pictures of a genital herpes bump. And I have looked at breakouts on lips and compared from eczema break outs and rashes and herpes and they match all there in some pictures. So I'm just confused and idk what to do or think, but idk if I'm breaking out because im stressed, and curious as to what is going on with me.

Looking at pictures, I do not have any lesions or white pimple looking bumps that a lot of the pictures have. But I do have red areas on my penis though. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it is not Herpes, but he is just a general practitioner doctor. Any more insight?

Hello, From the pictures it looke like eczema. . It is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, certain foods, plants, metals, cosmetics, dust mites etc. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.

I have it on my underarms, although they look slightly different for both underarms. The left side looks like typical eczema. Red, scaly, patchy, and very itchy. My right side is a little harder to describe. When I first started getting it I thought it was ringworm. But the doctor's biopsy found no fungus. It never responded to any fungal medications anyway. It usually starts out as a single red dot, and it eventually turns into multiple dots covering my armpit.

Unfortunately from looking at the pictures around Eczema, it does not really look like the bumps that I have on my finger. There is typically no redness around the bumps. About a year ago, I was diagnosed through an anonymous testing service with HSV-1. From doing a lot of research and seeing pictures, I'm scared that the bumps are from the possibility of having herpes whitlow.

I've been having really bad eczema these past couple of months. Red,patchy and itchy skin is everywhere on my body including my face. Sometimes it comes with out me itching ... is this eczema? I've been to the dermatologists and have tried numerous types of creams. The only thing that seems to work was a pill called Prednisone. But my doctor won't prescribe it long term because of the side effects it has. I really don't know what to do anymore.

They are in clusters all over my hands. I was told that they could be eczema; however, they do not itch and my hands are not the dry. What do you think it could be?

I've had kind of a scab-like sore on the top of my ear for at least a year now. It won't heal and go away. I'm pretty sure it was caused by continuous exposure to sun/skin peeling/healing, on and on. Eventually this led to skin that has kind of just remained dead that won't go away. Kind of like that which is found on the calluses of the hand when it is raised and "sharp.
