1227049 tn?1267237385 Hello, Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. A combination of treatments should be used. Along with topical steroids, you should use good quality moisturizers on the area. Immunomodulators like tacrolimus and Pimecrolimus are not without side effects and should be used after a dermatologist’s prescription.
Avatar f tn I have Dyshidrotic Eczema, which is a specific type of eczema that gluten and dairy are known triggers for flare ups. More so by natural medicine than by conventional medicine. Once I stopped gluten and limited the dairy to a minute amount, I no longer get the miserable flare ups.
Avatar n tn I have tried a cream called Rescue Remedy. Yes, just like the Dr. Bach Rescue Remedy that you may have heard of that is in the homeopathic drops that is sold under this name. But, it is a cream and I did find it helpful with the eczema rashes, too. Eczema is a lifelong condition, so it's important to keep trying different solutions until you find something that works in order to reduce or eliminate the flare ups. That's why my first post was so long.
Avatar f tn So I have had eczema pretty much my whole life, and I finally got a Dr that gave me the right creme to get rid of it, but now that I am pregnant, my ob says that any ointment I use should be over the counter, well I have tried just about everything, and nothing is working, in fact it seems to be getting worse. I now have very little use of my hands since that is where my eczema is attacking. I have to have someone else wash my hair, and I can't even clean my own house.

Avatar m tn t believe a person has Candidas unless the person is flat in bed in the hospital on life support and needing IV medical treatment to kill off the Candidas. This viewpoint is not shared with natural medicine. Natural medicine suggests that the majority of us have Leaky Gut Syndrome because of the things I just mentioned. We start to have symptoms because of the things I just mentioned, and we start to have other symptoms. Ever notice how the GI doctor wants to give you an antidepressant?
Avatar f tn Do any of you ladies suffer from eczema.... This has been going on for the last 2 weeks... In its driving me crazy....
9807151 tn?1406762059 Im 25 and 2 days pregnant and I have really bad eczema.. is there any home remedies or anything that you guys might use to help it ?
Avatar f tn I would seek a Herbal or Natural medicine store nearby, they can suggest a lotion if it is only external symptoms, but you should still let your doctor know what is going on. Meanwhile use only Dove soap when bathing it does not irritate the skin, and rub a little bit of olive oil on the affected area. There is a cream that does miracles on skin healing, its called "Egyptian Magic" and is sold at your local Whole Foods Market. Hope this helps and you feel better!
Avatar f tn I have a small rash on my arm that itches like crazy. My doctor told me it was eczema, which can happen when youre pregnant.
Avatar f tn Oops, I accidentally closed out the screen before sending my message. Well, here's the short version: I had babesia and Lyme, and the testing for babesia is pretty accurate, as far as I know, because it is not bacterial, but protozoal, so it doesn't do the 'shape shifting' that Lyme bacteria can do from regular form, to cystic form, to cell-wall-deficient form. Babesia treatment was first, and once it was out of the way, I was feeling better; then on to treating Lyme.

Avatar f tn I have suffered with eczema for years, but this year is the worst. It has only appeared on my hands. I have days where my skin cracks and bleeds. I have been using several creams that my dermatologist has prescribed, but it still persists. I have seen a product called Freederm, which, according to the testimonials, is WONDERFUL. Has this been testd by the necessary people/labs, and is it true?
Avatar f tn Hello, Eczema is not always caused by allergies. Eczema is often caused by allergies to common natural inhalants and intolerance to some foods.Sometimes it is an overactive response by the body's immune system to a bacterium that normally lives on the skin or an irritant. However , eczema is commonly found in families with a history of other allergies or asthma. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
