Good call on the chemical sensitivity. That's familiar territory to me. I use a wonderful hypoallergenic natural soap that folks here might be interested in. It's called Sappo Hill and this company is based in Portland, Oregon. I personally use the one called "Natural", which might be better to call "Neutral", since their entire line is natural. This is a very hypoallergenic brand that uses coconut oil.

Hi I have a severe case of eczema. I flare up extremely bad on face and neck in the winter. Also when I sweat excessively I itch. Is there any help or products I could use to keep me from looking like a frosted flake in the winter months?

I had breast eczema. I was told by a dermatologist to wear only cotton bras and it helped it go away. I also was prescribed cortesone cream and it helped. But we later discovered that using it had blocked my milk ducts and I couldn't breast feed when I had my children. But wearing only natural breathing materials around my breast and the cortesone cream did the trick.

so my sister has the saame thing and she uses many different things. somof the creams she uses are cetaphil. it is acpeap oc cream.

Hi, I've been taking baths for the past week because I have eczema all over my body and it helps me alot when I take a bath with Epsom salt. I do want to continue with the Epsom salt bath because my eczema is large scale all over my body. However, my period came today and I don't know whether it's healthy to take a bath while I'm on my period. I have my own bathroom and bath tub. Would it be okay to continue with my bath if I'm on my period? Thanks!

I have been diagnosed with mild eczema on the base of my penis shaft. I have 3 or 4 red area's that I just cannot get to go away, it feels dry and is almost painful. I have been trying to not use the steroid cream too much but it seems like the only thing that really makes it feel better. Should I try not using anything? Would using the steroid cream too much keep the area red overall? Would anyone have any suggestions on the best moisturizer to use in that area for eczema?

My son had eczema. I used eczema lotion I think it was aveno along with eczema otemeal baths. It's a powder that comes in little packets you put in the bath water. I also used dreft baby detergent and organic sent free soap for the bath. Also don't bathe baby too often that will dry the skin out even more.

Sorry Your rash actually does sound like eczema. I believe it's called discoid eczema. Round coin sized red rashes that may or may not itch. definitely not cancer. Did he give you a prescription for cortisone. He should have also told you to get short cool showers and use body wash not soap. Then moisturize!!

You won't cure eczema, you can just reduce flare ups.

Omg.. poor mama.. try oatmeal bath and stuff you would use for eczema.. I guess.. like cortizone cream and ointment.. I know if u stay away from dairy, eggs and fried food that helps eczema.. also.. try paleo diet..

To help with eczema get some Cortizone Eczema Lotion. Its betweeen $8-$10 a bottle.I ewas instructed not to put ANYTHINGthat has a scent to it on my sons skin becabecause it makes it worse and sunscreen has a scent and I've never heard of that helping either.

Wrap it in a towel and keep it on for ten minutes or so. You probably have mild eczema. The natural bacteria causes your skin to over react.

Try taking an oatmeal bath avino has the stuff that you put in the bath its like oatmeal but its I don't know but um And helps alot alot :-)
