Thank you for the advice. Since I posted that it's begun to get very dry and is now scaly and peeling. I'm beginning to think it is eczema since I did suffer from severe eczema when I was a child.
Yesterday I woke up with a large patch of peeling dry skin on my cheek and a little patch on my other cheek by my mouth. Today my whole face is itchy and when I scratch it it flakes off like dandruff. I havent changed anything like detergent or washes. Now it is red and burns along with the flaking and peeling. Any ideas?
ve noticed that my eyelids have been unusually dry and itchy - Now they are constantly peeling (both the upper and lower lid) and still very itchy and super red (it looks like I've been slugged in the eyes). I read online that I should do a warm compress and then scrub the skin with baby wash and then use aveeno, but that hasn't been working at all - I'm so embarrassed by it, I don't like going out..yet I'm going on vacation in a 8 days and would like to have this cleared up.

about a year ago i've got this rash that occurs on my face. Its itchy at first then it spreads all over my face and sometime even my neck and elbow.I can barely open my mouth or eye because its so dry. It last about a week then the red patchy rash start to get extremely dry and starts peeling off. i've had this problem about 9 times now and getting very frustrated.
I'd guess eczema. It's possible to get hsv1 on your nipples, but it's not at all common. Peeling skin is more likely to be fungal or eczema than herpes, but you should let your doctor check it out if it isn't common for your eczema.
I'd be surprised if it's herpes. Did she say what caused her cut?
ve suffer bad from excema for many years now and regularly get it on my face, my eyelids and beside my nose. It has come up all over my face and neck now. Its very red, angry and peeling off in sheets. Its not that itchy but has spread wide. It hurts to open my mouth wide as it feels like my face is going to crack. I've only had it this bad a couple of times before but its so bad at the minute. I've been putting E45 on it and my steroid cream on but nothing is working.
I have a history of skin disorders (eczema, dermatitis and skin asthma) so I just drank benadryl to get it over with but it did not do any help at all and until now I am suffering the same problem but now it is much worse and my face is peeling off the skin. I have very random spots of dry patches on my face. Every morning my face has flaky spots all over, and then about half way through the day. It is impossible to put make up on because it makes my face look even more dry. I have used exfoliators a few times a week, toners, lotion, masks, and all different types of make up. I am wondering if anyone has any advice? Summers my skin looks fine, but once the cold weather strikes I start to look terrible. Any help would be great!
Hi and sorry about your problem. I think you have dyshidrotic eczema (or a type of eczema). It fits the description and I have it too. It seems to get worse in the winter. It can be caused by a variety of things such as allergies, dry skin, washing your hands too much and a variety of other things. Best to keep your hands as dry as possible don't wash in hot water. I actually use gloves a lot to keep down the hand washing and it has helped some.
My wife suffers from eczema and is particularly affecting her palms of hands to the point that her skin is cracking. It is extremely itchy and she has sought medical attention with a dermatologist but the medication prescribed is ineffective. Anyone have this type of condition? Any alternatives?
it appears to be an "eczema" disease. i'v been experiencing it for 2 years and it spreaded from my middle, to the 2nd, 4th and now the 1st finger (only right hand). So the finger's skin made a cycle, where it peeled, and then it grows the newer one but its thick and theres no fingrprint in it, then it goes back to peeling and again. (But in a small area).
Now to cap it all off, my finger tips are peeling really badly along with my toes. My face is also very dry and my eyes were rally puffy and itchy ( this has no gone) I also have random dry patches in other areas like my back.
What on earth is going on with me? has anyone had this? is it stress? or should I be concerned its something else?
i suffer from very dry skin all year but for some odd reason when the season changes my skin starts peeling and only from my chin and the side of my nose... it looks horrible like i dont wash my face. i moisturize but it doesnt help. i have to use makeup but it looks ugly at the end of the day. it is embarrasing. what can i use?
Just noticed that my husbands armpits are very red and the skin is peeling, kinda like a sunburn, it causes him no pain and no itching and I was just wondering if anyone knows what this could be. Thanks.

Ive had this patch on my breast by my areola for a few months now it has itched but not is often it grew to the size of a quarter now i itch all over my body even my face and scalp and behind my ears. I have a severe case of eczema in the ears. My face is breaking out i also intake alot of pop and sugar. Im 33years old and i had my ovaries removrd around this time last year.
