When I was taking birth control I would get a dry skin rash on my cheeks and forehead. I quite taking birth control and it went away, my primary doctor told me it was an allergic reaction a couple years ago. I am now 22 weeks pregnant and my rash is back. I am taking allergy medivatipn but it is not helping. I can put lotion on at 7 am and my face will be dry again by noon. Does anyone else have this rash?. What do you use that helps with it?.

From the symptoms eczema needs to be ruled out. Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
Anyone else have dry red itchy skin on face with my last pregnancy I had it and it stuck around for the four years til this one but it wasn't really bad baby lotion would usually help well it's back with a vengeance this time it hurts it's burning and itching so bad any suggestions that has helped with urs

I don't know if I have eczema because i don't have skin inflammation. It itch once awhile and all of my skin was peel off on itself, now it like normal. I still put moisturizer everyday.
Try putting coconut oil on your face. I have very dry skin and sensitive skin and that the only thing that doesn't make me itch. Maybe also put a cool mist humidifier in you room at night. Try to drink some more water. Those r the 3 things that help me.

My right ankle has a dry hard layer of skin over it, it is sometimes dark and has a circle around it. The skin is dead, I can pull it off and feel nothing until it bleeds. Sometimes it is flaky. I have seen two doctors about it and neither can tell me what it is. They tell me to try moisture cream.
