First of all was the diagnosis of eczema confirmed for these dry red patches on the nose? This is because eczema often presents with itchy, red, dry and flaky skin. If the rash is non itchy then dry skin or seborrheic dermatitis of the face are important differentials to be ruled out.

Treatment consists of antihistaminics,steroids and plenty of moisturizers.

I'm not a doctor. has eczema history. if your rash is reddish with dry skin surrounding and perhaps sometimes blister like, it can be eczema. peeling happens when you over scratch it. can ask for corticosteroids over the counter.

hi i suffer with eczema and lately for the past few months I have been waking every morning with horrendous breakouts on my skin (face) as it is my face it is heartbreaking and very embarrassing. The best thing you can do is to make sure you get a really good lotion - like Gold Bond Triple Threat Anti Itch Medicated Lotion for example and make sure to keep your skin well covered at all times. From what I understand the riba causes a form of eczema. Because we get to dehydrated it is very exasperated. You have to make sure you keep it on all the time and when it starts to get better don't stop or it will come back.

I also notice the same numbness whenenever I ride my bike after 20 minutes or so. There also is a rash (?) on my index finger than resembles eczema on the backside of the finger and just dry dead skin on the side and palmside of the finger. What could be causing this? What should I do? I do not experience the same numbness with my left hand at all!!
