Lately I have been getting dry skin, especially around my eyes. It's become inflammed and red underneath my eyebrows, and around to the outsides of my eyes. Whenever I put moisturizer on it, all it does is burn. I've tried multiple moisturizers, and nothing is working. I recently bought new acne medication, do you think I could be allergic to it? Or is it just because I need to drink more water or something like that?

For the last month or two, I have noticed small, dry bumps that have grown on the area around my finger nail and cuticle. At first I thought that this was just dry skin but they haven't gone away with regular moisturizing. I am not sure if these are warts or possibly an infection that I may have gotten from the acrylic nail salon that I used to go to. Is there anything I can use to remove this?
is there any product or treatment that you can recommend to reduce or lighten the "raccoon" appearance or "dark circles" around your eyes that African Americans and people of darker skin often get as they age? My are horrible! No amount of sleep or concealer seem to help. In the last two years it has gotten noticeably worse.

From the symptoms and pictures,it looks like nummular eczema(stubborn, itchy rash that forms coin-shaped patches on the skin.Found mainly in adults but can oocur in children also) , hives(red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known.
t see before is a eye that droops and a swelling I have around my eyes. The eye is only slightly droopy (makes me look tired, but is permanent) and the swelling is random and comes and goes. He has seen it happen to me while in his office. Sometimes my other eye droops more than the original droopy eye, but it doesn't stay that way. It's such a swelling that it has created creases in my forehead near my eyes. I have seen a neuo opthomologist who says that nothing is wrong.

Hi. I'm 26 and I have a light beige skin tone. I have very brownish skin around my eyes. It goes up to my brow line and below my eyes as well. This is not typical dark circles. It is brown rather than grey or bluish. No amount of extra sleep, water, iron, or anything else seems to help. It has gotten worse over the past 8 years or so. I have heard that it could be caused by some sort of health problem. Any insight would be helpful.
im feeling a lot better now but the only thing is, is that i noticed( at week 9 that my skin looks odd , specially on my torso. the skin around my ariolas of my nipples look like they have stretch marks that look dispersed(almost the same color as my nipples just a hint lighter),my left nipple looks more affected by it. and i seem to be more red, like i had a couple of beers at night. i feel i turn red only at night. im not sure if im seeing things or the light is messing with my eyes, idk..
He now has light cirles around his eyes and it looks as if he had on sunglasses. His Doctor suggested that I have him see a pediatric dermatologist. I am worried to death because the cirles have been getting lighter and we are protecting him from the sun. He does not rub them at home, but when I pick him up from school under his eyes sometimes look a little red. I am wondering if he has an allergy, eczema or could the light circles be Vitiligo?
Ive been treated by previous dermatologist for eczema on my face around my eyes back of my ears and even on my body but they could never help with the marks around my mouth. A previous dermatologist gave me bleaching creame and pretty much told me that because my top lip is bigger than my botton lip I may have saliva coming out the sides of my mouth even though it doesnt feel like it causing a reaction.
Ive done just about everything and used just about everything.
in my eyebrows, the bridge of my nose, both my cheeks, and along my jawline on each side. it usually goes away for a while, but it always comes back. i took some pictures today if anyone would like to see them. it looks so horrible this morning that i had to stay home from work. it also goes into my gotee and moustache, turning them both red and burning, and also cause flaking. it also makes the outer skin around my nostrils really itchy!

I did some Internet research on the cream and I read that using steroid creams on your eyelids and the skin around the eyes can cause ocular hypertension and glaucoma. Is it safe to use this cream around my eyes? If my eye pressure goes up, will it go back down once I stop using the cream?

so I brought her 2 different dermatologists, they both prescribed creams but none worked, they only made it worse! the skin around the eyes are now whiter than the rest of the face that I think is the result of the cream. It's still itchy, and I've been applying Vaseline to those areas but the problem doesn't go away.
Any suggestions are welcome.

I HAVE RED DRY PATCHES ON MY FACIAL CHEEKBONES ABOUT AN INCH AND A QUARTER AROUND THAT BECOME SCABBY . . . IT ALSO RUNS UP THE SIDE OF MY FACE BY MY EYES AND BY MY EYEBROWS AND FORMS SMALL SCABS/// HAVE BEEN GIVEN BETAMETASONA (VALERATO) FOR THIS, BUT IT DOES NOT SEEM TO HELP. REGULAR HAND CREAM PUT ON TO MOISTURIZE IT ALSO DOES NOT SEEM TO BE USEFULL. IT HAS GONE FROM A MINOR IRRITITATION 3 YEARS AGO, TO THE POINT NOW PEOPLE NOW STOP ME IN PUBLIC AND ASK WHAT IS WRONG. ANY IDEAS?
Unfortunately from looking at the pictures around Eczema, it does not really look like the bumps that I have on my finger. There is typically no redness around the bumps.
About a year ago, I was diagnosed through an anonymous testing service with HSV-1. From doing a lot of research and seeing pictures, I'm scared that the bumps are from the possibility of having herpes whitlow.
recently about 2 weeks ago i tried a corticosteriod cream which cleared up the rash but instead gave me tons of bumps around the rash area. ( i think it was an allergic reacation) i stopped using the cream and now i'm dealing with 2 problems. the rash came back. i am back to where i started but now its even worse. i have tried many over the counter creams but had no results from it.
