I thought cutting back on my alcohol would offset 3 meals a day. I do like meat but eat very little bread I drink mainly water and 3 cups of coffee per day. When you go from 0 exercise to what i am I doing know I did not think about the change in diet in a negative way but I must watch the amount I eat.

After a little over one month off being pretty strict at counting my calories and eating a well-balanced, healthy diet, I can proudly say that I am now 163 pounds and feel absolutely great! I can already see huge changes and know that it only will get better from here.

Avatar f tn I might have suggested to you before, but after that, if you have a community pool, or someplace to walk and swim , that water is your ticket to getting back in shape. Take advantage of the summer months! I have only one year in age on you. I'm here to tell you that detoxing isn't as easy to physically recover from at our age and it takes a little extra time and effort to accomplish. But it IS completely doable. Keep on keeping on!

In the beginning the swellling would go down over the night but lately it has been staying. I called my doctor when it first began and the nurse said drink more water, watch salt, lay on your side, and all the other typical things.

I have the same thing, I lost 7 kg with so much work and all I can see that my body has a better shape. Dont give up !I wont ! Lets get rid of this fat for good , im fed up with it !

Avatar f tn I am going to breastfeed, go to the gym, go swimming, get a massage lady to come over and give me a 7 day slimming massage (and wrap my body up like a mummy with Asian herbs to lose weight) and I had ordered some clothes in size M to motivate myself to lose off the baby fats. I am so huge now and my thighs when standing straight are crushed against each other (TMI - sorry) so I am very motivated to get my pre-pg shape back once LO is born.

Avatar m tn Within 1 to 2 weeks I had sore throat behind my tong in deep of my mouth and discomfort in my tong and the flu like symptoms also some pain in my lymph groin. I went to the family doctor and she took a blood test but no specific and said everything was well, also strip throat and Mono was fine.I took HIV test about 5 weeks later and it came back negative, not sure if that relaible. 2- I have been dating a girl from Indonesia and we have unprotected sex once around end of Feb this year.

It's my best friend and helps me with all of my problems(hypothetically)... Can anyone help me with the feeling of needing food for comfort? I just want to eat for fuel and not for emotions!
Avatar f tn If it is, you need to subtract about 500 calories/day in order to lose a pound/week. Or you can reduce calorie intake by 250 calories and burn an extra 250/day. Calculation: 1 pound = 3500 calories.

Avatar m tn I was always the same shape! I used to run and do upper-body strength training 3-4 days a week but couldn't change my body shape. But then I started doing circuit training and using a stationary bike. I also upped my workouts to 5-6 days a week. And let me tell you--the stomach melted off. I used to have a 32 inch waist and 38 inch hips, and now I have a 28 inch waist and 39 inch hips. Now I'm an hour glass and have a much flatter stomach.
Avatar f tn i had quit drinking...i found eating eggs seemed to help..i was told the protien in eggs was good to restore the damaged liver cells but not the right protien to make new cells...for about 10 years now i have trouble with exercise that brings my heart rate up real high for like an hour ..i get diarrhea from it..so now i bike for like 30 or 40 miles but not that hard..i haven't used a heart rate monitor for a while but i'm quite sure i keep it less the 130..maybe even 115...
Avatar f tn ve been doing good that I feel that could account for some of this is that the exercise has remained an important part of my lifestyle and I take 1 fish oil capsule a day and 2 cinnamon caps a day, 1 cinn in the am and 1 cinn in the pm. I also put the cinnamon in my coffee in the drip basket. My liver enzymes had pretty much been stabilized at around the 50-70 range for about a year now.
Avatar f tn I ate cold lunch meat the entire time I'm a huge sandwich eater and wasn't about to give it up and I can't always have a "tosted" sandwich. Now a days everything is a risk for your baby and it's my own personal belief that it's gone a little to far. I go by if my mom did it with me and I'm fine then my LO will be just fine too. But it's your own personal preference, my midwife just said everything is fine in moderation. My girl is 3.
