Also being under a lot of stress or doing strenous exercise, the hormones can also act up and many athelets have missed periods or have no period at all.

Avatar f tn Ok, So the last time i had sex was on Aug 19th ( Unprotected) and exactly after a week i started taking this medicine to balance my hormones so that i would get my periods within a week or so. But I did not get it. I took 2 pregnancy test ( 1st one on 6th of september & the 2nd one on the 18th of September), both of them were negative. I took a test today and it came out invalid for some reason. Its being more than months now and i still haven't got my periods.

Avatar n tn Hi there. There's no foods that make your periods lighter. What we expel during our period is the built up lining of our uterus that washes away each cycle when pregnancy doesn't occur. Hormones cause it to build up IN CASE we have intercourse and fertilize an egg, an embryo attaches to that thickened lining. But when we don't have a fertilized egg, our hormones trigger to release that lining and then it starts all over again with your next cycle.

Avatar m tn However you also have to balance not eating these types of foods with the other benefits those same veggies offer from a nutritional and health aspect. And there I think is little evidence of the significance or impact that those veggies really have on the thyroid level. It may be that they do in fact have an effect, but it is so small that it is of no consequence. I think lifestyle in the form of stress and general overal health has more of a combined effect on thyroid.
Avatar m tn Limit fruit to 3 servings/day because it tend to have a lot of sugar and if not used right away, turns to fat. Try to center your meals around vegetables, because they have a lot of nutrients and fiber for very few calories. Also stick to low/no fat dairy, lean meats, good fats (such as avocado, olive oil, etc). Nuts and seeds are a good addition, because of the nutrients, but limit them because of the fat, even though it's "good" fat.

Then they made them wrong and it was a whole big fiasco and she ended up throwing the wings at her boyfriend ha. So trust me you're not the only preggo that wants their food a certain way! Plus he forgave her, so I'm sure you're bf will realize you can't help it!
Avatar f tn It may be as simple as him being to athletic, body temperature is to hot he may need to swim or take cool baths more or even his pants being to tight! If he comes back normal then you know something is off with you. Maybe an in balance of hormones and on. Testing him though is harmless, painless, and will give you both an idea on what your next step should be.

I would take Omega 3 but what ever supplements I take I seem to feel bad or get stomach upsets except for Vit C ...someone suggested I use liquid supplements instead of tablets .I am trying to educate myself a lot by reading and googling , coming here for advice others have is also helpful to me ,thank you ..
