4835896 tn?1369369421 Vitamins, water and decent calorie intake. I was the same way at first, but I would at least try to eat an apple or orange in the middle of the day. I didn't have too much time in the middle of the day to "snack", with working so much and feeling sick.
Avatar n tn Yes, according to American Diabetes Association, you can take zero calorie drinks if you have diabetes. These have artificial sweeteners and no carbohydrates. So, usually they do not raise the blood sugar on their own. However, there may be a surge in blood sugar if you have eaten something either along with them or before consuming the drink. However, not all drinks in a day should be zero calorie drinks or diet cokes.
Avatar f tn I like Zero, which is a zero calorie Powerade. It does contain "fake" sugar, which isnt very good for you, but it also has all the good for you vitamin and mineral electrolytes - a bonus! Especially if you are exercising. :) Lots of flavors.
4101382 tn?1352814020 My sister is a nutritionist and she says it would be extremely hard to drink too much water. She also advised to be careful with the zero calorie flavored water. If it is zero calories and flavored, they're using chemicals to do it and that might not be so good for baby (especially if you're drinking a lot). Try getting carbonated plain water and adding a squeeze of lemon or splash of 100% fruit juice if you don't like how plain water tastes.
Avatar f tn t go over 1500 calories a day and no less the 1200. Im maintaining weight right now my goal is to loss 40 pds. 2020005 tn?1628125976 I can do great exercising, I really push myself to get it done, my down fall is seriously eating healthy. I can eat healthy all day long, then at the end of the day cave completely. I can't let myself ignore my hunger breastfeeding or my supply will completely diminish. I've been eating a good breakfast, good lunch, a snack between lunch and dinner, and then dinner, and a snack later on. I'm having SUCH a hard time eating healthily.
Avatar f tn So as long as you stay behind the red line you should be ok?
Avatar f tn Brush your teeth right after dinner. Have an emergency snack ready for night like precut cold in water celery stalks and carrots. Also take an evening walk. Clean your fridge and pantry. Get rid of Mayonaise , high calorie salad dressings. Give your pasta and rice to a food bank. Don't buy processed foods. Learn to cook. Get a small food processor that will make food prep a snap. Avoid soda even diet soda. Drink lots of water and green tea.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if someone could help me determine what my calorie intake should be a day? I am 24 about 5'6" and 294 lbs. Trying to be more healthy and take better care of myself. I used to only eat once a day (usually dinner).
Avatar f tn if youre not losing weight its because you are not exercising enough or you are eating too less or too much... I recommend eating 1500 calories a day and DRINK LOTS of water.... exercise 5 times a week... and you should see results.. if you dont, youre not exercising hard enough or you are not eating clean enough.. Cut refine sugar OUT of your diet.... all nature all the way... hope this helps... I have a BodyMedia armband and it helps me track my activity... its 90% accurate...
Dog I also started a 5k training 3 times a week two weeks ago to change my exercise up as well. I do also drink plenty of water on most days. I have lost zero weight and begining to get frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to start losing some weight??
Avatar f tn Hi im trying to lose at least 40 pounds this summer my weight right now is 189. I'm on a 900 calorie diet but I'm really picky about what I eat and want to try and find away around high carb food and eat food I like. Any ideas ??
Avatar n tn Pick your healthy weight add a zero and eat that much (example, if you want to weigh 150lbs add a zero 1500 calories, and you shrink to that weight. Filling that calorie amount with healthy food is best though.
Avatar f tn I have been peeing a neon yellow. My main source of fluids is the zero calorie water. And one cup off coffee a day. I have been dieting for the last four months, and usually when i pee its so clear it looks as if i never went. But for the past 3 or 4 days its been neon yellow. I was taking once a day vitamins for women, but have not taken them in almost a month, and other than that i never take any pills. Not even for a head ache or anything. A little worried, what could be causing this?
8400156 tn?1397943837 It is so nice to be able to grab a zero calorie sports drink and have no guilt of the calories and gaining weight, but at the same time I have heard these drinks contain fake sugar that is worse for weight loss and can actually gain weight. I would like some other opinions on wether low calorie is the best option... or should I just eat the calories and go with plain sugar? I am counting calories for my diet and just cannot waste any on juice.
2150264 tn?1337222044 I still caution against sugar substitutes and zero calorie drinks, because over time, they can actually sabotage your efforts. Try drinking plenty of plain water. It's best for keeping you hydrated and works best to keep thirst at bay, plus it fills you up. A glass of water 30 minutes before a meal, will keep you from eating as much.
Avatar f tn e from protein and carbs equally as ur body needs carbs as a fuel. if you cut down on the fat whilst still eating a balanced diet you should notice a marked improvement in ur weightloss. if ur fond of biscuits for e.g. then make it a plain tea or digestive and no more than 2 at a time. use lean meat and trim off excess if there is any. dry fry stuff or grill/oven bake more and always drink loads of water, if u dnt like plain water add a little sugar free diluting juice to it.
Avatar f tn How many calories are u consuming a day? Eating too much or too little can b bad. if u are working out u should b eating those calories otherwise ur body can be storing fat. another reason u aren't loosing weight might b because ur gaining muscle...
Avatar f tn m always struglling to lose some as well, at least 2-3 pounds (not water weight of course). I eat as healthy as it is possible, I've cut out completly everything bad a couple of years back (no sweets, no pastries, no fast food etc). Basically I drink only water and eat only boiled or raw vegetables, legumes, fish (2 times a week), soy, eggs and fruit. My problem would be calories. I just have times when, even if I eat as usual, I find myself weighing more and it's just frustrating.
Avatar f tn Increase your water intake so that you will not feel hungry...try putting lemon in warm water in the water it will prevent your stomach from bloating and also it can help you lose weight..try eating high fiber foods to increase your metabollism ...
Avatar f tn Hey If you like the bubble like drinks ..drink zero calorie shelter water that's flavored..
