Avatar f tn You can actually buy a head of lettuce, tomato, cucumber and other raw veggies that will make a couple of meals, less expensively than you can buy a ready made salad that will only make one meal. Or buy a larger salad and split it into 2 meals. Again, this all assumes that you have a refrigerator to keep food fresh. Eggs are relatively inexpensive - an omelete filled with onions, spinach, mushrooms and whatever other veggies you like would make a great breakfast or dinner.

Avatar f tn If you're only eating a little over 415 calories, you aren't eating enough, either. Your body needs more than that, just to stay alive. You will, eventually, go into survival mode so your body can hold onto present fat stores. I can't imagine eating full fat dairy, olives and all that fruit and only eating a little over 415 calories... Are you actually counting the calories you eat? How did you arrive at your daily calorie budget?

Avatar f tn ll use the pumice excessively until I break the skin which results in bleeding and a patch of raw skin that burns. At this point the skin will appear almost as a circular dent until the callus part begins its process again. Now I developed the same issue on the same finger on my left hand. This doesn't appear to look like any of the wart pictures I've seen. I've tried using freeze away, the wart band aids and wart gel. Nothing works.

Just a thought to also look into it ..Oral allegy syndrome .. usually, it's not delayed, but it did come to mind when you mention you grow your own veggies. When cooked, though,usually everything is ok. My kids had many intolerances that were delayed by days... those are the hardest ones to undercover. Sometimes a total food elimination diet under the guidance of a Dr is the way to go by reintroducing slowly each food. Please keep us posted!

Avatar f tn Eat vegetables. Raw,& in salads. Steamed & in soups. Chinese food but no rice. Nothing white bread,pasta all out. Skip beef. Eat fish. So eat as many salads as you like. Skip the dressing though. I used to model & we all kept skinny this way. Keep posting your success !

I've been trying to do some non-usa based research on eating raw fish while pregnant but I'm not feeling 100%. I mean...if people in Japan promote eating raw fish during pregnancy, what makes America so different? When I was pregnant my ob-gyn advised me to steer clear of raw diet dogs because humans with weakened immune systems like pregnant women, children or anyone with autoimmune issues can easily contract harmful bacteria from their shedding. Be careful!

Avatar f tn There is nothing wrong with eating raw fish. As long as you trust the place you are eating it at. Like for me I go to sushi bay and eat raw fish. I won't eat at genkies even not pregnant cuz it's not fresh. You usually can tell the difference between fresh and a day or so old fish...

823825 tn?1265071431 m not sure what a raw oyster would do to a developing baby, but eating them raw can cause you to get sick. A friend of mine was in the hospital, I forgot what they called his illness, but it was because he ate raw oysters.
Avatar f tn A balanced diet gets more important the further you get along. Maybe introduce some whole wheat or grains? If you crave meat, perhaps lean meat would sit better than sausage or ground meat. Sounds like your body is craving some fat if you want greasy foods. Perhaps cheese might help? Watch that it is a hard cheese and pasteurized, not the cheese we are cautioned from.
Avatar f tn Have 3 meals and one or two snacks. Try nuts like almonds or fruit for a snack, or raw veggies. Raw green beans are good, and so are raw sugar snap peas. Maybe a handful of raisins. Maybe you would like kale chips. Learn to cook using veggies, olive oil, herbs, fish. These things are real food, not junk.
