8622136 tn?1399000554 Eat spinach and lentils they are high in iron. Just dont eat anything dairy a hour before or after cause vitamin d dosent allow your body to absorb much iron. You really can't just eat beans you should look up vegetarian recipes. Aslo supplement with collagen the ligaments in meat have collagen. Its been proven that vegetarians tear more during delivery because of low collagen intake.

Avatar n tn Try eating things high in fiber! Idk about anyone else but going to the bathroom gets difficult. I eat alot of beans which is high in fiber and iron, lentils also high in fiber and iron, I did juices as well which is a great in between meal. Juices with kale, apples blackberries, pineapple, oranges, bananas, and other berries. Berries are great antioxidants they clean the system very well.

Avatar m tn Hello! I would suggest you to go for dietary lifestyle changes initially and if you are not able to built muscle then go for prescribed supplements. I would suggest you to go for cardio and weight training regularly and to eat protein as in milk, soya, beans & lentils, lean meat and egg white regularly in your diet to increase your protein intake. Avatar f tn Chop onion, small can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, 1 bay leaf and lentils and put all in pot... with water 3 fingers over the lentils..boil till lentils are tender... add half a cup of olive oil, take of the stove, add vinegar to taste. That is an easy yummy recipe and I guarantee you eat that every once in a while you never have an iron problem again :) P.S.

I've been trying to do some non-usa based research on eating raw fish while pregnant but I'm not feeling 100%. I mean...if people in Japan promote eating raw fish during pregnancy, what makes America so different? My doctor told me she wasn't sure since this pamphlet she gave me didn't say anything about RAW tuna.
Avatar f tn My physician tested me and found that i definitely had an ammonia buildup and i should stop eating animal protein. Once i dropped eating fish the problem went away. My physician told me that the ammonia buildup can lead to encephalopathy - brain fog - that can be very damaging, so i'm sticking to a vegetarian diet. He also said that if my liver wasn't already damaged, this would probably not be an issue. ...

Avatar f tn There is nothing wrong with eating raw fish. As long as you trust the place you are eating it at. Like for me I go to sushi bay and eat raw fish. I won't eat at genkies even not pregnant cuz it's not fresh. You usually can tell the difference between fresh and a day or so old fish...
