Avatar f tn I started working out and eating healthy about a year ago too...I had lost 72 pounds before finding out I was pregnant, I still work out now im almost 30 weeks, I walk alot and play a workout game on my xbox kinect I just change some of the workouts so they don't hurt my stomach....I did run a little in the beginning and the protein shakes are ok depending on what kind it is, I would google it or ask your doctor!
Avatar f tn I plan to keep doing what I was doing before. Lift 3 x a week...cardio 2x week. Exercise is great for pregnancy. I really believe it helps you bounce back faster.
Avatar f tn Yeah if you have been working out then keep I r up just go down a little if you weight lift and try to not run out of breath it can be bad.
Avatar f tn Hey girl I'll help support you its amazing you have the motivation after all that. I need something. I will be the 29 in a couple weeks and I can't stay in shape like I used to all I do Is get fatter. I used to have an eating disorder and now that I'm out of that I just feel fat. I'm 5'3 142..
1449821 tn?1421079096 Thank you for your advice, yeah I am like you I stay between 1200-1500 and every so often when I feel I need to I will have a little more, I was just worried w/what I was eating that for how much I was working out might be to much, but I am not working out like that anymore, I am still working out but not as hard as I was and I do have a dead line for me its the start of May that is about 2-3lbs a week as of right now if I remember right, Thanks again
Avatar f tn s all i use that site for and it works out good for me and they have lots to chose from hope this helps
Avatar m tn I went from a completely sedentary lifestyle, bad eating habits, and drinking 8-9 diet sodas per day to working out 2-3 times each week, good eating habits, and drinking almost exclusively water. Most of my fat is stored in my stomach. I'm literally stumped as to how little progress I've made in terms of raw weight and "belly inches.
676912 tn?1332812551 My OB told me that breastfeeding is actually a good way to loose the pregnancy weight, so I don't think you should worry too much about your food intake. Try to aim for a balanced diet and don't starve yourself. I've found that eating more but smaller meals during the day works better than eating 2-3 big meals. As for exercise, I've been going to the gym 2,3 times a week and doing sit-ups, etc at home and I've seen no effect on my milk supply. Hope his helps!
1128483 tn?1277340286 I was working out regularly until 2 weeks after I got my bfp! For some reason I became deathly afraid of doing anything but I feel up to working out again. My plan is when the snow clears to start going for hikes through the trails that we have around our town. I have a boarder collie and he loves walking!! I plan to do that everyday and may have my friend join me when she can and my husband when he can.
Avatar f tn m ready for a break! But I plan on working until I go in labor! If God says the same!
Avatar f tn As I said in another post, nothing was working for me. This WORKS! If you follow the plan correctly it is not a fad diet. It is a way of life. You eliminate carbs the first 2 weeks and after that you slowly reintroduce them. It is very much like Clean Eating and Weight Watchers core plan once you are done with the first two weeks. I am currently working phase 2 of the plan..but I know with Turkey day tomorrow I will probably switch back to phase one of the plan for the following week.
4643945 tn?1363372357 Hey everyone! I was curious about people working and how long you plan to? Also when do plan on going back? I am 37 weeks and 3 days and still working. I am a cashier and always on my feet. I am exausted when I dont work, so the days I do work I feel like sleeping for days after. Not to mention I have a two year old who keeps me moving even when Im not at work. I talked to my doctor and he said I work up until I deliver "im pregnant not disabled".
Avatar f tn So I'm a ftm and I'm not in the best shape. I'm over weight and want to be healthier to prepare my body for birth. I'm only 6 weeks and 1 day a long. Can I start working out? I have my first prenatal this Thursday and was going to ask my dr. But do you think it's alright?

Avatar f tn You have to do things slowly, you have to make a plan. The plan should be not of what you want to do, but who and how do you want to be. Once you figure that out make a schedule that you can keep. Nothing harsh or extreme that will make you exhausted just by thinking. Maybe cut white sugars first week and exercise 15 minutes. Than cut white flour next week and add 5 minutes to your exercising. If you are searching for help you already started the process.
3075809 tn?1355081008 I do hope to lose quite a bit breastfeeding though, then after I am done breastfeeding (6months to a year) then I plan on just eating healthier and less all together, taking my baby for walks in her stroller and working out with husband!

Avatar f tn So I'm 32 weeks and I work at a retail store and I'm constantly on my feet. Whether it's picking up on the floor or on the register. When I get home I definetly feel it on my feet and back. I plan on working until I physically can which I was thinking maybe 2 or 3 weeks before I'm due. Which is October 14. But yesterday I kept getting like dizzy spells and literally feeling like I was gonna pass out.
Avatar f tn m really asking for is a few tips to get me back into that workout mode agin. Thank you for your time.
Avatar m tn I think if I was planning to work during treatment (which would be Plan A), I would have a Plan B and a Plan C lined up in case Plan A does not work. Do you have sick time, vacation time, holiday time, short term disability, etc. that you could use as needed? You can get family medical leave. Can you work part time? It would be easier to work 4 hours a day than 8 hours a day. If your job is physically demanding, could you temporarily do a desk job?
Avatar m tn I was on Cymbalta for about 6 years. Last year my Pdoc doubled the dose for awhile. Then for 8 months we tried med changes. 10 different medicines. At the end he kept me on the 4 pill drug cocktail I had originally had before the episode. I am helped greatly by talk therapy. So I'm concentrating on that for now. What about you?
