You are doing what so many people have done and most have had the same sad result – no weight loss. Sometimes, they have even gained more weight. Please know that exercise is not the main contributor to weight loss.
Dog Basicly your not eating enough calories for your activity level. You didn't mention your current weight but 1200 calories a day isn't enough food for a hamster let alone an active person. Check out www.fat2fitradio.com for a BMI calculator. I will help you figure out how many calories a day you should be eating. One rule of thumb is to add 100 calores per mile on training days.

As you discuss ways to adjust your insulin with your doctor, it may also be a good time to make an appointment with the dietician and figure out a new diet that you can live with for a long time beyond the diet.
