Common Questions and Answers about Eating healthy menu plan

eating

Avatar f tn I am looking for a menu eating plan that is already set out for me telling me what to eat fro Breakfast, lunch and dinner, I do not have the time to weigh my food etc. So I am asking can someone help me please! I basically eat anything, not a lover of red meat.
Avatar n tn It might help you lose weight, depending on how small the portions are, but it's not healthy... You aren't eating anything that has protein, at all and what you're eating has very few vitamins/minerals, like B-12, calcium, etc. You need to add some type of meat, dairy, eggs, beans, legumes or something with protein and since vitamin B-12 only comes from animal products you either need to supplement or add some of those animal products to your diet.
Avatar n tn I need some suggestions on healthy eating throughout pregnancy.I have two kids but this pregnancy I'm really really wanting to be really healthy since I haven't lost baby weight from my second son seeing as he's only 5 months old.
304970 tn?1331425994 As for lunch today I had one of those lean cuisine chicken club paninis with a handfull of goldfish a rice crispy treat and a banana so like 450 calories..not bad I would say! As for dinner...I have no idea, my mom will be making it but she's home sick so I don't know what's going to happen there! We never plan for the week, I wish we did. My menu monday would be so much more interesting!
172023 tn?1334672284 Exercise is my personal battle. I despise it. I force myself to walk the dogs, but that's about it for exercise. Probably a 30 min walk every other day (poor dogs!) My best advice about the scale is to either NOT get one, or get one that you use once only, midweek. The people who get the most discouraged are those who weigh every day. If they gain, they're despondent and may overeat, thinking "what's the use"? Or worse, severely restrict their eating.
960548 tn?1251288388 That is a little heavy for your height. You're young, though, and have that going for you. Try to get out and get some exercise every day, even if it's just walking. And try to eat healthier. More salads, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, chicken, fish, turkey and lots of water. Try to avoid fried foods and fast food as much as possible.
1881346 tn?1341924768 that depends on what you're eating :-). All fast food places have good and bad foods, and the problem isn't so much weight gain (although that can sneak up on you so be careful) but it's that you need to be eating nutritious food. MOST things on the menu at fast food restaurants are not nutritious, just fattening and greasy and caloric...so it's best to limit your fast food/dine out intake unless you're making healthy choices while you're there.

304970 tn?1331425994 Laura, those topics would be off-limit anyway. Too much controversy! Yikes!!! But you can definitely come up with something new. Do whatever you want. You could have a new topic every Monday! As for our menu--- I'm making weinie wraps and salad for dinner. Not very healthy but right now that's what we have!
Avatar f tn I started eating healthy and it lasted a while. Im now 27 weeks and eating how I did before I got pregnant. All I crave is cherry poptarts and sweets so I limit myself but it still is all high calorie and does nothing for you. I will tell you I gained weight more quickly when I started eating junk again but total i have gained 19lbs.
Avatar n tn i really need a diet plan! I know I'm not always eating healthy.... I also don,t have a proper exercise schedule.
Avatar f tn I am normally a very healthy person eating all natural no processed food. But since I got pregnant I don't want anything to do with vegetables or fruit. I want salty food and processed food, like pizza rolls and McDonald's. Anyone else doing this?
Avatar n tn Look up "the full plate diet" it's really NOT a diet, but healthy eating. That's what I do, all it is, is a high fiber diet eating lots of whole grains (brown rice, wheat bread, oatmeal) fruits, vegetables and water.
Avatar f tn Anyone else having problems eating healthy??
Avatar f tn I try to eat healthy snacks during the day so I can have dessert at night. Key word is try. I have a massive sweet tooth.
Avatar f tn Eating healthy is next to impossible for me. Saying to the fact that I'm 4'11 and post pregnancy I was 103. I ate like I had a bottomless pit. Now that I'm pregnant I find it hard to change eating habits and it's worse because I'm hungry every hour. I'm trying , but good lord it's hard !
