Avatar f tn There are heaps of yummy healthy meals you can make at home, you just need to be organised. I do a meal plan each week and get all my groceries for the weekon a Sunday. But I agree sometimes you just need to eat some junk!! But I keep reminding myself I need to eat as good as I can to help my baby and I'm sure I'll be thankful for it when it comes time to loose the baby weight!

Avatar f tn As far as diet, what you want to do is change your metabolism in two ways -- exercise and eating healthy foods gives you energy and burns energy, and second, eating foods that don't metabolize quickly into sugar and that you digest well will keep things moving instead of sticking around. Personally, I think your diet is overloaded with dairy, which isn't digested well by most humans, but some people do lose weight eating a lot of it.

959034 tn?1253671476 taking just a couple of bites of a healthy food is better than not eating at all. I find eating a larger breakfast does best for me - but that's not true for everyone. If I eat a large, healthy breakfast, I'm less hungry for other meals AND I have the advantage of using up the calories throughout the day............ I don't know what time you get up, go to bed or what your schedule during the day is.

Avatar n tn Eating a low carb diet is the best option. Eat lean protien sources like fish, chicken, beef. For essential fats eat salmon, olive oil, almonds. the only carbs should come from fruit and vegetables. Drink only water not juice.

Avatar n tn Hello, I'm 21, weight 69kg! Here's my daily meal plan : breakfast a slice of white bread with lettuce and cucumber, sometime added a bowl of papaya. I wanted to change to wheat but my blood type is B. I eat papayas (fruit) a bowl for lunch and dinner, sometimes I don't have dinner. I snack cream crackers whenever I feel hungry, but only 6 pieces per day, no night time snack. I drink a lot, like 8 or more glasses per day, especially when I'm feeling hungry.

1282925 tn?1286412039 And yes -- I actually prefer an eating plan in which most healthy foods can be enjoyed, so long as portion size is the key. There are plenty of web sites that tell you what a portion should be -- I'll be glad to help find some if you like. The idea is to have a "small" slice of cake - not the whole cake; or 1/2 cup of ice cream, not the whole 1/2 gal.
Avatar f tn I have gone to my dietician and she gave me a meal plan. Its really not a bad plan. I am not having to change what I eat too much. Really just removing alot of sugar. My problem is I constantly feel hungry. It makes eating something I look forward to more. My question is did it take time for your body to get use to eating less or just following the meals? I get pretty cranky when I constantly feel hungry. And my mood really effects how my family feels for the day! The saying is true.

Avatar f tn My favorite things to snack on are pretzels with hummus, grapes, popcorn, pineapple chunks, deviled eggs, and then chicken noodle soup is always nice. (You can even get can pineapple and put it in the freezer for an hour or so.. frozen pineapple is delicious!) tuna with crackers, etc.. Do you cook? You should look on pinterest for healthy food/snack ideas. I dealt with bulimia 7years ago and always hated the shame that came with it.. I feel for you and pray you get control of it. For me..
