Avatar m tn Are they referring to people with active eating disorders who are in a compromised medical state and more prone to seizing, or will anyone who has ever had an eating disorder be denied this med? Avatar f tn Hi, I know it's hard to be exposed to judgmental environment. I also know how emotional distress, hurts and wounds can get you to dark places... I suffered from anorexia and then bulimia in past and I know that once you start it's very hard to stop. I don't want to preach but if I were you, I would talk to an adult you are close to....maybe your mom? aunt? cousin? - and I would agree to talk to a therapist who specializes in eating disorders.
Avatar f tn m probably beginning to sound like a broken record to some on this board, but there are a couple of things that you can try. You can try eating an apple prior to sitting down to a meal - that will help you fill up some so you won't eat so much. A large glass of water can do the same thing. Try using a smaller plate and you can have a plate full, but it just won't be as much food.

Today, he felt very out of control of his anger so started back on the meds. Not sure if this is right?

5274485 tn?1385860167 Some states take developmental disorders in BOTH girls and boys very seriously. I am thankful to live in one of those states. Despite this I do have to say that my daughter is the only girl her age at the clinic where she receives therapy and the only one in her autism class at school in Kindergarten. There is absolutely something to be said about girls needing more dxs.
