Common Questions and Answers about Early stomach cancer symptoms

Avatar n tn Hey there. Ovarian cancer is a rare cancer. But, your symptoms are that of ovca, so just to stay ahead of the game I would schedule an appointment with your gyn. Ask to have a transvaginal ultrasound and ca-125 test if possible. Once you get some further testing, let us know what the results are.
Avatar n tn At your age, it is even more unlikely and rare to have stomach cancer. The worrying is only making your symptoms worse. I would recommend talking to your doctor about seeing a therapist.

540515 tn?1216398193 i tested because i felt sick to my stomach and vomitted. so you can get some early symptoms, but also women convince themselves that they are pregnant because they want to be so badly and they really are not, so the best advice i can give you and try to stay relaxed and not think too much about it and test a few days early. I used the clearblue digital tests, whiched tested at a very low hcg level, and i got a 5 pack of them at walmart for 18 dollars which is very cheap.

Avatar n tn I knew before I was due to start with my third, fourth, & fifth. So yes it's possible.
Avatar m tn So to preface this... I'm a 25 year old male and I'm terrified of this being cancer. Early February I had an upper GI done when I had incredible stomach pain and they found two duodenal ulcers. I was prescribed Prevacid 30mg once a day and after a while the symptoms went away. Two weeks later, they came back worse than ever and I went to see a specialist who upped my dose to 30mg twice a day and carafate.
Avatar m tn Thanks for reply mammo. My GF has about had it with my worrying. Hopefully I will post something positive after tomorrow's appointment. I hope (if it is cancer) I'm catching it early. From everything I've read though if you show symptoms, you did NOT catch it early.
Avatar f tn Women are more likely to have symptoms if the disease has spread beyond the ovaries, but even early- stage ovarian cancer can cause them. The most common symptoms include: Bloating Pelvic or abdominal pain Trouble eating or feeling full quickly Urinary symptoms such as urgency (always feeling like you have to go) or frequency (having to go often) These symptoms are also commonly caused by benign (non-cancerous) diseases and by cancers of other organs.
Avatar f tn I also probably should have mentioned that we have a family history of stomach cancer and stomach ulcers, which is also what got me to thinking this. My diet, when I do manage to get it down, is good - no worries there. I do not smoke, and drink alcohol occasionally. My specialist told me about an endoscopy but he said he didn't think I needed one, so instead, told me to wait. Do you really think it's worthwhile going back?
Avatar f tn Women don't usually have many obvious symptoms so early along, breast changes are common, tender swollen breasts, a missed or abnormal period. Some experience cravings or food aversions and nausea early on, something that I had never read about is stomach soreness, I experienced that before I missed my period. I felt as if I had been doing a lot of ab workouts. With certain movements or stretches I would feel that my insides were really sore probably because of the stretching of the uterus.

Avatar f tn For the last 4 months I have had pain on the left side of my stomach down to my pelvic area, a nagging pain sometimes dull or sharp near and around the belly button, also consistant bloating that will not go away in a circle around the belly button. Had endometriosis removed, symptoms still came back I don't think it was the endo causing this. I don't know what to do anymore, I feel like my doctors gave up on me. Could it be ovarian cancer?
Avatar f tn I am 19 years old, since I was really young I've always had problems with my digestive system. There are times that I go 4-5 days without going to the bathroom. I am always constipated, and when I eat my stomach becomes really bloated to the point that I look pregnant. I've always had this problem, sometimes when I do go to the bathroom I bleed a lot, and sometimes very little. Also when I eat the upper part of my stomach begins to hurt.
Avatar f tn You should know the symptoms and insist that your doctor rule out ovarian cancer if you have a lot of them. The symptoms are vague and can be indicators of many other diseases. So don't panic if you have them --just be sure to get checked to eliminate that possibility. I'm a 10-year survivor because my ovca was found early and was curable. Proving there's hope even if you do get it.
Avatar m tn After that I became very anxious about my symptoms, worrying that it was something worse than IBS- Stomach Cancer or Ovarian Cancer to be specific. I had all the symptoms it seemed. Nausea, bloating, constipation and the like. Of course there were measures that relieved it all- warm packs to the belly, warm baths, and drinking tea- by the way does anyone else have an intolerance to cold liquids and need to drink warm or at the very least room temp liquids?
Avatar f tn Symptoms are not a way to determine pregnancy because pregnancy symptoms and menstrual symptoms are very similar. If you miss you period your best option is to take a pregnancy test. Good luck!
Avatar f tn Welcome to the gastroenterology community! I don't think you have stomach cancer or any other type of cancer. What treatment did you get for the H Pylori?
Avatar m tn Hi i'm 23 years old and i'm worried i've got stomach cancer as i've read a lot of things on the internet about it.
Avatar n tn Vague but persistent gastrointestinal complaints such as gas, nausea, indigestion. Frequency and/or urgency of urination. Any unexplained change in bowel habits. Abnormal postmenopausal bleeding. Weight gain or loss. Abdominal swelling and/or pain; bloating and/or a feeling of fullness. Pain during intercourse. If vague symptoms persist longer than 4-6 weeks, insist on a thorough rectovaginal examination.
