pregnant

324372 tn?1222823802 Hello! I'm sneaking over to this board from the Infertility message board, so I guess that makes me a newbie here! I am 6 wks 1 day pregnant and had a question about your experience with stomach pain. With my first child, I didn't get any nausea or many pregnancy symptoms that people list, but with this one, it seems like I'm getting everything! I started getting super bad nausea a few days ago, and the doctor gave me Zolfran yesterday to help.
Avatar n tn Especially since you said that your pregnancy ended really early too. That early on, you wouldn't have extremely high levels anyway. Urine test strips typically test for hcg levels above 20-25 hcg. Sounds like your levels have increased enough to get a positive reading. Good luck!
Avatar f tn anyone familiar or heard, know, experienced taking subutex while pregnant? i am now on 1mg per day and there is limited studies. please help.
Avatar n tn The message board is always full!!!!! but anyway i kind of need help bad, my last period was September, a week and 3 days after the last day of my period i got a light E.P.
Avatar n tn Ok, so I have read all of the comments by everyone and only a few have actually confirmed anything. I am on the mirena & having pregnancy symptoms too, and my breasts are leaking. If these really are symptoms of having the mirena, they should really do more research and warn women before they decide to have it inserted because this is ridiculous. I have twin 21 month olds and a 4 month old..trust me I have not forgotten what it feels like to be pregnant, and this is it!
Avatar f tn Hi Melissa, this board can be very busy and quix has not been so well. Just do what you did and bump the message up for someone to see. I think that new lesions could show up within 4 months. MS is a game of waiting sometimes. Hopefully your symptoms go away and never come back, but if they do come back at a later stage that will be a grounds for further testing and hopefully a diagnosis. The neuro I saw wanted to see relapse and recovery, as the testing wasn't conclusive.

Avatar f tn Can someone tell me what either menopause (if it is early menopause as my mother and her mother had menopause early on) or if you can tell me if after-pregnancy hormone imbalances can cause these problems? I have had extensive blood work done, and although I get worse all the time, there was nothing indicating problems in my blood work.
Avatar n tn Since the pill mimics pregnancy, and your body reacts differently after going off it, it made me begin to wonder if the hormonal changes after pregnancy caused these symptoms to occur in the first place. I was considering going back on the pill to see if there was any difference in my symptoms. Were you on the pill before becoming pregnant, or are you on the pill now? I was on the pill for years. I went off it a few months before I became pregnant.
228463 tn?1216765121 It turns out the MS is very responsive to ESTROGEN. MS symptoms sometimes subside completely during pregnancy when the estrogen levels are highest and then return when the BIG E subsides after birth. The immune system also plays a role here. In your menstrual cycle the estrogen hits rock bottom 4 to 5 days before your period. In fact, the link seemed so promising that a few years back there were come clinical trials to see of adding in estrogen might actually help treat MS.
Avatar f tn For me each pregnancy was different and the extent of my symptoms whilst carrying were too. During my last pregnancy my symptoms were more prominent but at the time we were not aware of the cause. My pregnancy itself was straightforward, this condition never caused no problems to my baby. I was on no meds so I never had that worry. I did suffer more fatigue, tachycardia etc but tried to pace myself. Cool showers were a blessing to me!
Avatar n tn Dear CCF MD, This is so called heart month, where every morning show and news station has a segment on Heart health, most focusing on the differece between cardiac symptoms among men and women. It seems to me I am hearing more and more tragic stories of women dying suddenly from heart attacks, most of them had sought medical attention weeks, days and even hours before collapsing and from what I have been told the majority of them were given a diagnosis of "stressed out".
Avatar f tn I'm terribly anxious - but feel that this is mostly due to the physical symptoms i've suffered - not physical symptoms due to anxiety iykwim? Anyway, my doctor keeps assuring me that it IS a type of postpartum anxiety/depression and that it may take a year or longer to sort itself out. I've looked on the net and there is some correlation between having had a baby / severe drop in hormones and strange physical / mental changes.
Avatar n tn I am hoping to try again very soon and am really eager to get a positive pregnancy test back. Have any of you been on WhatToExpect.com?? It is a great message board! Come join us on trying to concieve!!
Avatar n tn I'm going to get a copy of my sick leave absences from work and see how far the pattern might go back, then, I'll print off this message board and march to the doctors! I have had an overactive thyroid, the symptoms of that, might have messed up my perception of this cyclic illness, but I expect the doctors to take us seriously.
Avatar n tn I just read thru the message board after doing a general search... my history is this. My first pregnancy in 1996 delivered a healthy son, my second delivered a healthy son in 1999. These 2 pregnancies were with different husbands and I had NO problems. My oldest son died suddenly in 2002. After a couple years, my husband and I decided to have another child. In May 2004, at 12 weeks, no heartbeat could be heard and the U/S showed the baby had stopped growing at 8weeks. I had to have a D&C.
1055869 tn?1294203119 Also, does anyone ever actually start to get pregnancy symptoms this early? If not now, how early could I expect to feel those (...assuming things were successful:)? Trying to remain positive!
Avatar n tn The best urine test according to everything I have read is the First Response Early pregnancy test, which can pick up Hcg levels sometimes as low as 12, but usually not until they reach 25. All and all you are looking at somewhere between 5 and 10 days. That is why most doctors tell you to wait 11 to 14 days and come in for blood work. I know the wait is unbearable, and I did do a home pregnancy test way before my blood work date, because I could not wait.
Avatar f tn lol I look forward to when we can turn this into a pregnancy thread for all of us where we can compare notes on pregnancy symptoms!! I remember being on a thread when I was pregnant with my daughter! It was so fun! With regard to charting, I may consider it too but to be shamefully frank, DH and I…… we do the rompty romp quite a lot and I can’t see us ever missing a fertile period. BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL HAPPEN YOU KNOW!
Avatar f tn ok so this waiting ***** and on top of it now I'm confused about my symptoms. I was starting to convince myself that they were pregnancy symptoms but now I'm not sure. I noticed I was becoming very sensitive to odors on sunday morning when my hubby made me breakfast due to my bed rest and he gave me soy sausage (which i usually love) but I could not stand the smell. I did not pay much attention but after that all tthe odors bothered me even roses that my friend got me...
Avatar n tn I Know it is not pregnancy symptoms cause its a little early for that. I am just wondering if anyone has had these symptoms from the Hcg trigger shot this long after taking it.
Avatar n tn The basic answer was, there isn't anything specifically wrong, just likely theres a diminished egg reserve and lower egg quality. One other thing - on my first pregnancy, it happened on the first try, immediately in the first month we tried. My husband and I were so surprised how quickly and easily it happened. I'm wondering if that was just a fluke, or if it could mean I may have a little better chance than what they show in the charts that list probabality of conception at various ages.
Avatar n tn I have recently started to feel the symptoms of pregnancy. I came here looking to see if there was any chance of it. And now seeing that there are other women with the same concerns, I am seriously getting worried. I haven't had a period since before the ablation. I was thinking that if I went to the OB/GYN and told her my concerns, she'd think I was nuts. She's not like that, but I still worry about it. The other issue is that my husband has had a vasectomy.
Avatar n tn Sometimes I feel smothered. I don't know if this is from withdrawal or pregnancy or a little of both. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. I asked my b/f to help me find a doctor today & he left, as usual. I know he cares about me, but he won't help me. So, I know I'm gonna have to do it myself or break down & tell someone in my family & get their help. I'm starting to realize, (now that I'm not high) why I used to stay high.
Avatar n tn Hi I'm 37 and also have a bicorneal uterus. This month I have had all the symptoms of pregnancy fatigue, nausea, sore breasts. I am due for AF on the 8/29/2005. Took an 5 day early ept and it came back negative. I spent all day Friday crying because AF started but it only was heavy for 1 day and spotting Saturday and Today some of the spotting looks like old blood. I still have a weird pressure feeing in my uterus. I never heard that the non-pregnant side still sheds its lining.
Avatar f tn Just to add on my comment on May 23, 2008. I had my fibroid surgery 2 years ago and trying to get preg after got better from the surgery but no luck. I think HSG played a big role on positive preg test result. Just an opinion...Who knows!
Avatar n tn It's almost 10pm, I skipped the Ambien last night (slept a little), will take a half tonight. I was looking up Vicoden W/D symptoms (again) and ran across this board. By the way, I came here to really just get my thoughts out, read other people's experiences.
Avatar n tn I used to spend the whole evening exercising 5-6 days a week in my mid-20s back in college without ever getting any symptoms such as these. But, now in my early 50's I come down with flu-like symptoms even with a mild weight workout--but no problems with walking for 40-50 minutes uphill to break a mild sweat. My internist Dr.'s response has been: "I don't know what to say!
Avatar n tn like I mean this is personal and I had a feeling I was miscarring deep down but was hopeful I would be wrong and did not want to tell people until 3 months had passed cause then chances were high that the pregnancy was fine according to books at 3 months and who reveals they are pregnant that early anyways? I personally never heard anyone reveal that until 2 months have past at least.
Avatar n tn Hi, Just wanted to add that if you go to gay.com, they have had a message board running about the new change to CDC regulations, which requires that states disclose the actual names of people who got tested, in order to receive federal funding for HIV testing programs. The vast majority of the men who posted on that forum are dismayed by the change and it sounds like it will make them less likely to seek testing.
