For about a month now ive had what the books call early pregnancy symptoms. Ive had breast tenderness, nausea, fatigue, heightened sense of smell, and ive also had pink and light to dark brown spotting (2 weeks off and on). About two weeks ago i took two pregnancy test and both were negative. the first time we tried to conceive was March 30th 2010. Im wondering if these symptoms could be early pregnancy signs, or my body readjusting from coming off of five months of bleeding.

Just wondering because a friend of mine tried IVF this month and they told her that as early as the next day she could feel symptoms...with IVF does it implant that fast or can we feel symptoms before the egg implants? I know you can't get a positive HPT until after the egg implants, but can you feel symptoms of pregnancy before?

Every website says that half of women who bleed during early pregnancy go on to miscarry. With no other symptoms, are my odds better?

Hi, I'm 6 weeks 3 days pregnant post 2nd round IVF. Symptoms can make you insane. If you're on meds, can all be the same as pg symptoms. You need to stay positive for those embryos. I read "the secret" to help me use my energy for positivity. Don't pee test early...will make you crazy too. It definitely won't work if you're negative. Imagine all your sypmtoms as early pregnancy signs....behave as if you're all ready pregnant...all the best..hang in there!

I read that an early sign of pregnancy is a white discharge (w/ no odor, itch, or color)...it happens when fertilization has occurred. FYI- I had my first IUI 10/18. some discharge started today. (plus i'm bloated and boobs are a little bigger than usual:) Anyone experienced this? Any truth to it??

I never had any pregnancy symptoms with either of my pregnancies. I'm now 30 weeks and just starting to get some symptoms. Don't worry about it, some of us just get lucky.

Dont worry about not having symptoms just yet, your still early. Most women dont get them till 6-8 weeks when you hCG levels get high. My nausea is not bad just enough to notice its there and to not want to eat at times. I feel you on being bloated because im the same way and most my jeans are to tight for comfort right now. Have you been to the doctor yet or had your levels checked? Any craving kick in yet? As for me i want everything that has to do with cheese or pizza.

Hi! I have undergone 2nd IVF cycle and am in 2ww. After the 1st IVF I got early pregnancy signs (very painful breasts, darkening of areola and nausea). But on the 9th day after transfer suddenly all signs disappeared. On 14th day I started bleeding really heavily and passed grey clots (biggest in a size of a smaller bean), so I guess it was a miscarriage. I blamed myself that I had overdone with activity and screwed it up. Now I'm 10th day after embryo transfer of 2nd IVF cycle.

I am 4 weeks pregnant through IVF, I do not experience any symptoms except mild cramps and aches on the sides of my tummy occasionally. My breast has started to feel a little tender. Try not to stress out and look for symptoms, I have had 2 cycles of ivf and both times i had no symptoms at all in the 2 week wait. The first cycle was unsuccessful but the 2nd cycle was a success and i am now 32 weeks pregnant! Good luck!

Unfortunately there is no commonality from woman to woman regarding cm in early pregnancy. Some women are very dry and others have more mucus then normal. Maybe if you were pregnant before and saw or didn't see mucus that may be somewhat of an indicator for you but otherwise it's still a wait and see kind of thing. Sorry!

it is very safe to have sex during early pregnancy when u get pregnant naturaly. i cannot say about IVF. i think there should be safe too. u can ask ur docotr.

So many of the symptoms are related to the medications that you are taking that it is impossible to know which are caused by the embryos, if any. Also, early pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are very similar, so the only thing to do is follow your instructions, take good care of yourself, and wait for your pregnancy test results.
