Okay so I had unprotected sex this month, he ejaculated in me (3 days before my expected period) and I missed my monthly period. Before my missed period my cervical mucus was thick, stretchy and cloudy egg white. The week of my expected period my cervical mucus changed to a thick creamy white discharge. It doesn't smell or itch. What can this be? Has anyone ever experienced this? I haven't tested yet because I don't want it to come back negative!! Im ready to be a mommy!!!!!
CM is a great way to know that it's close to ovulation time. Unfortunately, it's not a great predictor of whether or not you conceived. Yes, many women tend to produce more during the early stages of pregnancy, but 1 week post conception would be super early. i am just worried about this little spotting i am encountering 8 days before my period (which is this day). i am sexually active and we just had our last sex with my boyfriend yesterday and we both had an orgasm. i am really worried if this spotting is a sign of pregnancy. we didn't use any contraceptives.. i hope u could cite possible causes of spotting and if it is a sign of pregnancy. the spot color is red but with cervical mucus.
Dont know if you are saying you are late for your period or your period has been gon for 3 days. discharge is normally cervical mucus but it can be indication to other things. If your 3 days late you should take a test. you see this substance 3 days after your period is done then its a good chance it is cervical mucus.

Does this sound like she lost her mucus plug? Also, could this mean baby may be about to come early? She told me earlier today (before all of this started happening) that she felt like her water was about to break in the middle of Walmart, and that she had so much pressure down there that she literally had to lean over the cart just to walk.
I have no idea what to tell her since I'm on my 1st pregnancy and only 30+3 weeks..
It can be an early symptom, but not necessarily. You can always see a Dr. for bloodwork as well, that is usually accurate at this point. Good luck to you!!

The only obvious sign of the ideal environment is egg white cervical mucus. What that means is the mucus will stretch an inch or two between your fingers without breaking. And typically having sex the day before ovulation is ideal for conception. Our egg only lives about 24 hours without fertilization, so most Dr.s will recommend sex for the two days leading up to ovulation, and the day of. This has always worked for me. Good luck.
i used protection and but maybe it could be delay of ovulation or pregnancy.
