Early pregnancy roller coasters

Common Questions and Answers about Early pregnancy roller coasters

Avatar f tn I will bee going to disney and planned on going to universal studios which have many roller coasters. I am only 5 weeks pregnant. Is it ok if i go on the roller coasters?
Avatar n tn Does anyone know about the affects of riding roller coasters with early pregnancy. I am not pregnant now... That I know of anyway. I want to be able to have fun and dont' want to not go because I MIGHT be pregnant. And then waste the whole summer and the pass not going and then not even be pregnant at all this summer. But I also don't want to take a test everytime we go. If I were to find out I was pregnant I would not ride them...
Avatar f tn Let me know what you think! I wanna hear your opinion and views on virginity and teen pregnancy. And I'm sorry if I offended anybody in anyway.
138891 tn?1189759426 I'm not saying the rides caused this (I didn't go on roller coasters, but I did do the log ride which had a drop), but I sure wish I hadn't gone on vacation at all....maybe I'd still be pregnant. :( I wouldn't go on the rides.
Avatar f tn Louis 5/18 and had terrible motion sickness, which I have never had in all the years I've been riding the roller coasters. So as soon as we got back in town and dropped off the school kids I ran down to Walgreen's before going home. I took the pregnancy test the next morning before going to work. I woke my husband (who didn't get home from work til after 1am the night before) nearly in tears and too excited. Neither one of us could believe it happened so quickly. We are 14weeks now.
Avatar f tn Take a test first thing in the morning with the first morning "pee" that is when u get the most accurate results ( and during early pregnancy sleeping on your belly is fine lol ) good luck
Avatar f tn I agree w/ the other ladies - you will be fine. Things like roller coasters are a big no-no later on in pregnancy but not a problem early on in pregnancy.
Avatar n tn I will take a wild stab and say it is probably your hormones trying to line back up. Pregnancy causes so many wild hormonal roller coasters that now that you have had your baby the hormones maybe a little out of whack... I have never had a c-section but after both of my deliveries I bled for weeks.
Avatar f tn I know someone who rides roller coasters when pregnant. You aren't very far along so I would assume it would be fine. Might check with your Dr though.
Avatar n tn Blocked tubes so I am definately concerned that if I am pregnant that it could be a tubal pregnancy. I am only 6 days late but with the other 2 pregnancies had early positives. Now I took a home test when I was 3 days late- negative and a blood test 5 days late- negative too. They wanted to start me on provera but I wanted to do a little research first.
Avatar f tn I mean carousel is okay amd similar ones but not roller coasters.
4204106 tn?1374704816 That's why they tell you not to go horse back riding, go on water slides and roller coasters. Especially this early in your pregnancy the baby hasn't developed yet. Just swim, get a nice tan and enjoy the sun!!
Avatar f tn I am 2 months pregnant and have a season pass to great America. I really wanna keep riding the coasters until I am 3 months. Have you done it before or asked your doctor?
Avatar f tn Yes you should be fine my first pregnancy I drinked an was on roller coasters didnt know I was pregnant healthbbaby
Avatar n tn Is look up why not a roller coaster....you get jostled the sane way. Maybe there will be an answer..
Avatar f tn Nooooooo. It can cause you to have a miscarriage. It ***** not being able to ride roller coasters, but it's for the safety of your baby.
Avatar f tn When I found out I was pregnant I was FREAKING out, but my doctor said that it was too early in the pregnancy for any real harm to be caused. Just don't go on anymore roller coasters and ask your doctor if instead of vicodin you can take tylenol with caffeine since that is usually what they prescribe pregnant ladies whole have horrid headaches.
Avatar f tn I had medium rare steak last night, I had over easy eggs all last week and I've been around cat litter. Each which can cause harm to a pregnancy. It being so early in the pregnancy, I am very concerned that I have already harmed the development of the baby. Somebody please help with some advice.
1055869 tn?1294203119 Also, does anyone ever actually start to get pregnancy symptoms this early? If not now, how early could I expect to feel those (...assuming things were successful:)? Trying to remain positive!
Avatar n tn I had a trip planned to go to Sea World with my family and I LOVE roller coasters, but I was 6 weeks pregnant at the time and opted not to ride any coasters because I just didn't want to take any chances. My family did not know I was pregnant (except for my husband), so I didn't want them to be suspicious. They did think it was a bit weird that I didn't ride any big rides. I did ride the log ride because it wasn't jerky or anything. Felt like riding in a car.
Avatar n tn The thing is i'm soposed to be going to busch gardens this weekend to ride roller coasters and I don't want to do so if there is a chance i'm pregnant, so I wanna know the quickest way to tell if I am or not, and I heard the fastest thing is a blood test.
Avatar f tn /. I'd say ask your doctor to be sure you're fine but if he/she wouldn't clear you to exercise I probably wouldn't go to crazy.
Avatar f tn And period like cramps are completely normal during early pregnancy. I had them really badly with this pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Haha I hate roller coasters! Yeah I guess its pretty unsafe, I was just thinking it was like a car ride, we have owned a boat my whole life, Im so used to it I didnt think it would be so bad. good luck with the test of pregnancy and birth!!!
Avatar f tn Specially at the early weeks of pregnancy, you have to be very careful with any withdrawal symptoms. I agree with your husband, your doctor should be the best person to guide you safely through this process. He should not judge you but help you and if he does not, than you know he is not the right doctor for you anyway. By you titrating down, it shows that you are willing and wanting to be healthy for you and your family. You should be very proud of yourself and not ashamed.
Avatar f tn Is going on the roller coasters then going to affect me?? I m/c'd in December and don't want to go through that ever again. We haven't made any reservations for anything b/c we live 2 hours away, so it isn't a big deal to cancel the plans. Any advice???
Avatar n tn At what point in your pregnancy would it be unsafe to go on rides. I doubt I would do roller coasters cause they scare me, but like the other kinds or rides and stuff. Any thoughts? I don't know if age makes a difference, but I'm 21. Thanks!
