Common Questions and Answers about Early pregnancy factor

pregnancy

Avatar m tn I did some research and found the Early pregnancy factor hormone is released mere hours after fertilization. Some people claim they just knew they were pregnant the day after TTC. Has anyone else had these symptoms. I've always been super sensitive to my hormones. and i know i'm not PMSing. Or does anyone know what symptoms the early pregnancy factors causes?
Avatar n tn My husband and I deal with this, it's super early in the pregnancy that your blood may mix with the baby and will cause m/c, there's nothing you can do at that point (which seems dumb to me) but when that happened to me I was only 4 weeks and we lost the baby, it *****.

Avatar f tn I have been searching all over the internet and in books to find out what causes intense bleeding in early pregnancy when there are no apparent problems. There does not seem to be any answers out there. Does anyone know why someone would possibly bleed?

741877 tn?1265950200 I have been on asprin, folic acid, b vitamins and heparin most of the pregnancy... I will also have to be induced early.. the reason is that they dont want you going into labor while the blood thinners (even asprin) are still in your system.. I will start getting non stress tests and fetal fibronectin tests once a week starting at 30 weeks, just to make sure there are no signs of labor coming... its impossible to say if you should or shoudnt do the shots..
Avatar f tn I was told that my blood type was O negative and my boyfriends A positive, causing the Rh Factor in my pregnancy, resulting in a miscarriage. The gave me a shot that is suppose to help prevent this from happening in my next pregnancies. This was my first pregnancy. My boyfriend and I really want to try again. How long should we wait before we try again? Has anyone had this happen in there pregnancy, and gone on the have healthy babies?
Avatar f tn Is anyone else Rh factor and have to get the needle at 28 weeks?
Avatar n tn sorry to hear that you've had to go through this! the answer is defintley yes though! : ) your right ovary should take over ovulation and ovulate every month : ) i also had a cyst - but it was an endometrioma and had most of my left ovary removed... it doesn't function anymore.. so the right one has taken over..
Avatar n tn Ovulation- on october 29 2008, the last sexual intercourse was on Nov 8 2008 unprotected-withdrawal, pregnancy test on November 16 2008-negative---my period was suppose to be due on the 12th of NOV. No pregnancy symptoms present, no unusual discharge present and was under lots of stress this month. Is pregnancy a possibility?
Avatar f tn hello i was just wondering about some info about the rh factor in your blood. i am18 yrs old and 27 weeks pregnant and my doctor said i had a rh negative factor and only 15% of the pop. has it. Ive given blood tests and so what comes next??? Do you get a shot? If so where do you get the shot on your body?? Can you please give me information because im really nervous. Is it serious?? Whats gonna happen to my baby?? My dr. is kinda hard to understand so im just trying 2 get more info.
Avatar n tn blood work doesn't lie. if if came back negative it could be something else going on. Stress is a pretty common factor when you are late.
435737 tn?1204305839 It is likely related to maternal thyroid levels during early pregnancy - I have not seen data that would implicate the immune system itself, but autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) is the most common cause of hypothyroidism, so it makes sense that this was the studied population. It is another reminder to have tight control of maternal thyroid status before/during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I'm 26 and haven't been pregnant so don't have a direct experience to share with you. However, I know that if you've been tested that more than likely everything is fine. Lots of the posts here talk about using preseed and other natural therapies to help with pregnancy. I've even read in books about accupuncture helping a woman conceive after IVF..
Avatar n tn HI there and welcome! Are you seeing a rhuematologist? If not, you should as they deal with this. There is a great post at the top of this forum with questions you should ask and how to prepare for the appointment. I wish I had an answer about high RF and pregnancy, but I don't know anything about that. Someone will post something soon though. Please chack back as sometimes it takes a day or two to get a reply! D.
Avatar f tn Yeah they can go in arm or bum my first pregnancy was bum this time around it was my arm and the arm is so much better lol
20797928 tn?1510842464 Fast forward 4 years I got pregnant had a beautiful baby girl, and found out during my pregnancy that I have factor 2. My doctor found out and dismissed it's importance (I replaced doctor) went on lovanax for the remainder of the pregnancy and did my research only to find out that I have Factor 2 mutation and that, though normally genetic, mine is congenital. I have to explain all of the risks and the over all disorder to my doctors even... I guess my question is, am I alone out here?
Avatar f tn I have RH factor aswel but we only get jabbed during our pregnancy if we bleed or at birth depending on babys blood type
533193 tn?1289727345 Well, I know that in early pregnancy, the veins in your chest can become more pronounced. I know for me, my chest looks like a freakin road map in early pregnancy!!! LOL! I can't really remember why. But your blood flow increases dramatically when you are pregnant, so that may be a factor.
Avatar n tn Please can anyone enlightened me on what are my chances of acquiring HIV, is UTI an early symptom, and would the 3 months ELISA conclude my results. I managed to contact the girl, she said she had done a test again and it was negative, for all STD including HIV, however i just can't believe her anymore. I called her by advice from my doctor to have her tested as well. Please help. Worriedsick.
317019 tn?1532965586 Hi, So Factor 5 is a blood-clotting factor and if one of the five levels comes back at an abnormal level it can certainly cause clotting issues that can affect pregnancy. The treatment during pregnancy and after (not sure of the duration afterwards) is anti-coagulants, which means if you are found to test positive for Factor 5 you'll be giving yourself a shot of either Lovenox or Heparin during pregnancy...
Avatar n tn women who are heterozygous for Factor V Leiden with a history of early pregnancy loss: This is a good article that I found for you: http://www.geneclinics.org/profiles/factor-v-leiden/details.html "Prevention of pregnancy loss. The current data on antithrombotic therapy in women with inherited thrombophilia and recurrent pregnancy loss are limited to several observational studies and two randomized trials.
Avatar f tn This is my first Pregnancy , i found out i was pregnant when i took a at home test & came out positive. So then i went to the er, they then told me i was about 4 weeks. all they saw was just the sac. So about a few weeks later i went to my obgyn & right now i am 6weeks & 3days as they say they did a a/s & all they saw was the sac, then i asked for a vaginal , & they only saw the sac again. So now they told me to go back in 2 weeks.
Avatar f tn First off, I love that you just referred to your baby as "boo boo"! That cracked me up as it's just too cute! I started showing about that time because I'm 5'1. It depends on your body stature and what you looked like before pregnancy though. If you're skinny without much muscle tone, you'll show very early. If you're like me and had some "baby fat" in the middle section, you'll notice a bit later.
Avatar n tn My immediate family already know we are waiting for our first ultrasound before we tell everyone else
