Avatar n tn Hey - I'm a first time preggo but I've been doing some reading and from what I've read headaches are one of the MOST COMMON symptoms of early pregnancy. They are caused by raging hormones. I never get headaches and even I've had mild ones in the first trimester. I'de mention it to the doc though just to get some reassurance/advice etc. Good luck!
Avatar n tn Just a pregnancy symptom. I had them in early pregnancy too. Tylenol is safe to take and I took it about 2 or 3 times a day as recommended on the instructions. Drink lots of water and try to eat if you can stomach it because it will help with the headaches.
Avatar f tn Did anyone have headaches everyday in the early stage of pregnancy?? ??
Avatar f tn Early in my pregnancy (currently 18 weeks) I had headaches daily. Increase my water intake which helped a ton.
2028793 tn?1358878505 With my 2nd baby I developed preclampsia at 36 weeks and my Dr said the odds of me developing it again are pretty high and my mom thinks I should call the Dr due to the headaches but I think its too early for preclampsia I'm 17 weeks 2 days, what do you ladies think?
Avatar f tn For those of you who have experienced headaches during very early pregnancy, what were they like? How was the pain and on what parts of your head?
690039 tn?1277476022 Rose and Martika - Well, I've had the random twice a year type migraine before, and occassional tension headaches like everyone, but this pregnancy first differed the most from my last one in that 1. I was beyond exhausted and 2. I was getting a lot of bad headaches that felt like severe tension headaches, sometimes crossing over into migraine intensity and sensation... But then, my whole world turned upside down...
Avatar f tn When i was that early on in pregnancy i got headaches all the time and i found out that whenever i was the tiniest bit hungry id get the headaches. Have you tried snacking a little to see if that helps?
Avatar f tn Anyone experiencing bad headaches??
Avatar f tn I started getting regular migraines and headaches in this pregnancy and my midwife suggested seeing an acupuncturist. My headaches have been completely gone now since January!
Avatar n tn I have been VERY tired and getting headaches on and off through out the day for about 2 weeks. We have been TTC but I have had 2 AF's now and it's too early for me to tell if I am already pg. But I guess my question is could I already be pg and still have gotten AF in March? I know it's not likely but my sister had her period for 3 months before finding out she was pg, and went on to have a healthy pg. Just curious if anyone thinks this could be possible.
Avatar n tn I read up its quite normal in early pregnancy but I can only take paracetamol and it doesn't really help... its bordering migraine level... any tips ? Did any of you had the same?
1214758 tn?1320481686 I'm in the VERY early stages of pregnancy (still yet to be confirmed). HCG levels are just over 700. I've been having terrible headaches. Does anyone else experience this or could these just be from the stress of worrying about it?

484470 tn?1226544695 Well when I first got pregnant I had headaches and still sometimes I get one with the really bad ones I put Vicks vapor rub on my forhead, I know it sounds crazy but it helped. I guess it opens up the vessels.
Avatar n tn ps I am taking percocet for headaches. I have cervical disc degeneration and my headaches have gotten worse with pregnancy. It scares me a little but I have to be able to function so I take it when I have to and hope it isn't too much.
Avatar n tn Hi well I just missed my period! And I waS wondering...IN early pregnancy do you have a lot of headaches, feel really tired and lazy, and crave random food. Because lately I have been like that. I am just craving so many foods at once and I feel like I can eat them all right now. A few days ago I had the brown discharge. well please let me know. I'd appreciate it!
Avatar f tn I dont think its the prenatal vitamins I think its prengnacy alone haha I had terrible headaches in my first 3 months of pregnancy. They are better now and only come and go. They will get better and will go away eventually. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!
Avatar f tn Welcome to the second trimester! I get them all the time and they are horrible! I take paracetamol and it usually helps it, which is just a panadol from the local supermarket. It doesnt harm the baby.
7131686 tn?1390058041 I'm tryn lol I cn hardly open my eyes its terrible
10882379 tn?1435469534 If so, what are you doing yo get rid of them? I rarely got headaches before being pregnant. I got an extremely painful one last night and woke up multiple times to use the bathroom and had a very tough time going back to sleep because of the pain. I thought that I would've been able to sleep off the pain and was surprised when I woke up and still had this headache! I still have it now but its not as severe as it was last night.
Avatar f tn It was a shooting sharp pain all over my skull! and took tylenol (there's a kind just for headaches) you can get it in the dollar store or walmart and worked fine for me, actually right now i am in the 2ww list and have been getting them horrible also, i don't know what to think, i'd like them to be a symptom but you know your body sometimes plays tricks on you. I'd just call my doc and ask him. Good luck!
