Although I know the fatigue can be explained by the stress I had a non itchy rash on my chest for one day after being incontact sexually with a friend of mine. The rash went away but a week later i noticed very faint red spots in the chest area again. This worries me because I don't know what could cause this? Contact with her skin? I have been on a huge bender as far as drinking goes as well and three days after I stopped drinking excessively is when it faintly reappeared. Please help me.

do ARS (early phase HIV symptoms) occur simultaneously (flu symptoms occuring with rash)? I know the risk of oral sex contraction of HIV is low, but there was also vaginal sex (even though there was no ejaculation). Does anyone have any answers. I am waiting out a few weeks before I get tested, as it seems getting tested too early gives unclear results. Thank you, I just want to stay informed in this anxious period.

I realize that what I have could well be due to other factors such as fatigue and stress (have been under personal/family stress recently a great deal), maybe even a some other hormonal thing, but I am still extremely worried - I guess its just seeing HIV somehow associated with rash, fatigue etc. kind of freaked me out. Is the rash I mentioned the type one might see with ARS symptoms?

I also still get rash on stomach and forearms which keeps coming and going along with burning/tingling sensation in scrotum and thighs? Could these symptoms tie in with early HIV???

Had you acquired HIV and your symptoms due to HIV, I would expect your symptoms to be more severe than what you report. 2. Would PEP delay (26 days) and reduce severity (short fever/other symptoms) of ARS? I know knowledge is limited but your experience? Same answer as for 1 above. In fact, most doctors have difficulty diagnosing it. The rash of early HIV does not come and go and is non-specifc. It typically lasts only few days, at most.

but around 4 weeks after the experience i had a what apperead to be few early symptoms, i had a fever, rash( many of my friends who are not sexually active suffered from the same rash), fatigue and a soar throat. but i was already always getting sick before this. hi my exposure was 4.5 week ago. yesterday i saw white patches or nodules on my swollen tonsils (it never happens before) and it is a early symptom of HIV. i don't have any symptoms like fever,tired feeling,Swollen lymph nodes,Joint and muscle aches,rash. Most things I read say that ARS symptoms develop within 2 to 4 weeks. Is it possible to develop the symptoms 4 months later? Should I test again? Is it all anxiety and stress related?

s about 11.5 weeks.i have symptoms like a rash between legs,mild on neck and back,I also have what appears to be thrush and I get some headaches.my legs get sore easy and I'm really concerned.would you consider this test conclusive I also was test for all other studs and they were negative.all of my cell tests were normal to.can you help me?

Now I understand that the exposure I had is generally considered no risk with no testing needed and symptoms are not reliable for diagnosing HIV risk but still I need to know if the symptoms that I experienced are known to happen in primary HIV infection. Should I be worried. Incidentally I got myself tested few days back (in fifth-sixth week) for HIV antibody test which came back negative.
