t work for you after giving it a month to take effect try a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRI) like Duloxetine (Cymbalta, Yentreve). It acts a bit differently than the common selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) like Zoloft you are taking. So if Zoloft really don't work i would realy sugest the Cymbalta.

Hello. I am miserable. First of I have fibromyalgia and POTS so I have pins and needles and burning sensations occasionally but nothing ever to this scale. This is pure torture. The pain is 24/7 non stop for the past week. My rheumatologist just prescribed me steroids and I will take them for 6 days. The first day seemed to help but today I feel like I’m back where I started and I’m immobilized by the pain. What could this be? I’m so desperate for help and answers and relief.
First thing to note, Unfortunately smoking does affects the amount of duloxetine in your system and blood stream meaning that you will loose between 40 - 50% of the duloxetine dose you take. It is not uncommon for people to have their duloxetine prescription increased if they smoke.

I would not have recommend you to go onto duloxetine, in some, duloxetine can cause kidney and liver problems, drinking alcohol while taking this drug will unfortunately increase that risk and even more so with someone with your condition.
The only thing I have found in the literature so far that I can try is combining Gabapentin with Duloxetine. I did take Duloxetine previously for pain (adjunct to the Celebrex) and it did help, but my GP is skeptical that Gabapentin would help even if combined with Duloxetine. Does anyone else have Osteoarthritis and is unable to take NSAIDS and have you found a medication that works? Thanks in advance for your replies.

I think my anxiety attacks are pretty much under control since I take the duloxetine, and I really think with me taking Duloxetine and me completely stopping the vyvanse was why I didn't have a harder time coming off the medication.
I just ordered more Cymbalta from Canada who in turn orders it from India. I always get the generic duloxetine from them but this time I also got duvanta.
I have had some pain for the last two years that seem to get worst. Last year upon many tests, specialist diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. My family doc doesn't believe in such a disease, I agree with her. It all started with a severe headache (I never had any sort of headache in the past- NEVER). It lasted two weeks, went to walk in clinic then hospital emerg then my family doc, it wasn't migraine so what triggered the headache? That headache is still lingering on, it comes and goes.

I'm on Day 3 of Duloxetine and I've started having numbness/tingling in my arms, legs, hands and face. Is this normal and will it go away with time? What is the cause of your neuropathy? Duloxetine is also a good suggestion for Diabetic neuropathy.
A combination of PREGABALIN with DULOXETINE are effective in the last months of my personal trials in Lebanon the country of practice. I use it in such cases where typical classical treatment are no more effective.
The twitches have just started in the past week. My GP is leaning toward fibromyalgia and anxiety, but I want to rule everything out before we give me this diagnosis. I am not sure muscle twitches are a fibro sx. Should I be overly concerned that this could be ALS?
Hi, I do know that doctors will sometimes find a combo of things (most often by accident) works best in a patient. A low dose of one and a higher dose of another. With Mirtazapine & duloxetine used together, you have to watch for serotonin syndrome. They are commonly prescribed together though.
